Seeing that the other man was still on his feet, Colin breathed a sigh of relief.
He said, "It was manageable."
Morel asked, "Do you have experience Casting Teleportation Magic?"
"I've learned the Tier Two Magic, Misty Step, and I've practiced it before."
"That explains it. Most people are a bit more surprised when they first come here." Morel shrugged. "But for a battle-hardened combat Mage like you, I suppose your reaction is normal."
'Maybe it's because I watched a lot of movies about magic academies in my past life.'
As Colin thought to himself, he continued to survey his surroundings.
The walls of the room were covered in alcoves and shelves, all laden with various objects. At the same time, a faint, low hum was audible in the air.
'And why do I feel... like someone's watching me? Is it my imagination?'
The more closely Colin looked, the more it made his skin crawl.
"Alright, keep following me."
With that, Morel walked forward.
