A faint sound of something slicing through the air suddenly rang out.
A murderous glint flashed in the charming woman's eyes. A frigid dagger was in her hand, its cold light gleaming as she thrust it swiftly toward the young girl's heart.
Her killing intent was chilling and utterly venomous!
A chill ran through the young girl's heart as she was suddenly overcome by the feeling of death approaching.
She turned to look, but the dagger was already upon her, giving her no time to react. Only a single thought surfaced in her mind: 'Why?'
She had saved this woman, only to be rewarded with an attempt on her life!
It reminded her of what that coward had said earlier: be careful not to get burned playing with fire. The outcome proved him right!
