Alexander glanced around. Seeing that no one dared to raise any objections after the little Christmas game, he nodded in satisfaction.
"Also, I'm suddenly feeling quite good," he said, looking at Timothy. "Once the Free Port is built, you can start as the vice president. Get some more training."
Noticing the grim faces and somber atmosphere, Alexander changed his tune.
"Of course, I'm not some dictator who can't listen to reason," he said, stroking his thick white beard. "This is a great undertaking concerning the future of our branch. Everyone, rest well, think it over carefully. Tomorrow at 9 a.m., those with voting rights, along with family members and the foundation's teams, will come to the conference room for a vote by show of hands."
With that, he ignored everyone, not even sparing a glance at his eldest son, Timothy, who stood like a waiter. He turned and left the grand dining hall with Silvia and his legal team.
