If all I had to do was recite some Knight's Code for a reward, then why not?
He thought of his teammates, those juiced-up muscle monsters at the gym. They could train for ten years, and not even the Nine Dragons Pulling the Coffin could help them improve. Li Wei, on the other hand, just had to recite a few lines to get his points. He couldn't help but hum.
"...I will be merciful to the weak..." he recited, following Don Quixote's lead. "I will bravely face any strong foe."
However, Li Wei waited for a long time, but the third line never came.
He turned his head and saw Don Quixote 'looking' at him in confusion.
"What are you doing?" he asked. "Are you reviewing the Knight's Code as well?"
"Yes," Li Wei said after a moment's thought, coming up with a plausible excuse. "I recently won a new championship, and I decided to review the code with you to keep myself from growing arrogant."
Don Quixote fell silent, freezing as if he had short-circuited.
