"Zijin, how did it go?"
Huo Yue Lan didn't even have a chance to check on Lu Yunzhou, immediately grabbing Yun Zijin to ask.
"Auntie, he's fine. The acupuncture was just extremely painful, so he sweated quite a bit. He'll need a caregiver to help wipe him down."
Yun Zijin carefully wiped her hands with an alcohol pad. Even as Huo Yue Lan held onto her and peppered her with questions, she answered patiently.
When she turned and saw Lu Yunfeng, a surprised expression crossed her face.
'I haven't seen him visit before. I thought he and Lu Yunzhou didn't have a good relationship.'
'But now it seems that's not entirely true.'
"You're here too. The acupuncture just finished. He'll probably need some time to compose himself."
'Not that he has any image left to protect in front of me, anyway.'
But Lu Yunzhou was, after all, the eldest of the Lu Family's younger generation and held a position in the military. It was obvious he took his image very seriously.
