An abrupt knock suddenly sounded.

In an instant, the surrounding scene warped into an illusion as layers of Cloud Mist swirled all around.
When the white mist cleared, she found herself in the form of a rabbit, perched on a familiar windowsill.
In the corner sat a pot with a withered flower.
The Little Spider hadn't been saved. There was no small, dim, yet safe refuge, and certainly no one to give the Little Spider warmth and food.
None of it was real.
Yu Zhizhi stared down, bewildered, at her own fluffy rabbit paws pressed together. For some reason, a sudden wave of sadness washed over her.
'I really want to save the Little Spider.'
Suddenly, she heard the old man inside chanting a Spell. Peeking through a crack in the window, Yu Zhizhi saw the purple-robed elder hoisting the Little Spider into the air. A ghastly blade of Light sliced upward along its abdomen.
