Hearing about his parents so suddenly, Willow Quincy couldn't stop his eyes from welling up, no matter how hard he tried to pretend he didn't care.
His hand, gripping the gun, tightened unconsciously, and his gaze turned vacant for a moment.
Clearly, he was wavering.
The man with the bullhorn's eyes darkened, and he continued, "Your parents raised you for over thirty years, pouring their entire life's work into you! And what about you? It would be one thing if your head was just filled with petty romance, but now you're threatening to kill yourself over it! What do you take them for?"
"..." Willow Quincy couldn't answer.
The man continued, "Your dad is almost sixty! If you had just shown a little more promise, he would've retired long ago to play with his grandchildren. Would he still have to be running around everywhere for your sake, so worried that his hair has turned completely white?"
