Shirley Thorne skipped forward, her eyes filled with delight. It had been a long time since she'd craved food this much. If she could, she'd have told Susan Langley to give up all her scheming. Wasn't it better to just be a happy chef?

She compliantly sat down at the dining table. Her almond-shaped eyes blinked as she waved to the person still on the sofa. "Ethan, come on! There's so much good food!"
