When Lin Xuan withdrew his Soul Slayer Rod, a significant amount of his Yulan Sacred Fire had been consumed. The small ball of flame hadn't looked like much, but freezing it completely had unexpectedly drained a great deal of his Sacred Fire.
He had known from the start that this was no ordinary flame. After freezing it, he could tell it was a reinforced type of Phoenix Fire, which was quite difficult to deal with. Still, this was far better than having to absorb it. Had it been Bingxin and her group, their only option would have been absorption. Only because Lin Xuan possessed the Yulan Sacred Fire could he pull this off.
"I can be of some help this time, right?" Lin Xuan said with a faint smile. "Anything I can't freeze must be the Heart of the Fire Phoenix. Anything I can freeze, definitely isn't."
