Seventeen years have passed since the four received a command before birth, from a being Incomprehensible to them. With the King dead, the realm is ready to explode, being held together by a fragile peace. Landing in Oros, she sets out on a mission to return a holy icon she comes across, only to be pulled into the horrors of Oros and have her faith in the world shattered. Even as her faith in the world crumbles, her journey never ends, and through it she is drawn closer to the choice she must make.

With one prophecy before birth, 'Defend the Dove of Salvation, ' Oliver rises from a Lordless Knight, searching for a liege he doesn't know to become the greatest sword in the realm. Oliver travels, fighting battle after battle, serving men he hates, desperately trying to rise within Veston, just so he can find the one he is destined to serve.

Other than the first short arc, which introduced all the characters at once, each arc will focus on a person's story unless they meet or are in close proximity to one another.  Each arc won't just solely focus on the MC POV, but characters around their immediate orbit or are extremely important to the plot, but if it ever switches away from the MC to another character, it will be for a brief time.

Sitting on the back of the horse, using the large man's back as support, Alice held one of the mimic's bones in one hand and the eyes in the other. Twirling the eyes in her left hand, she tapped the other one against her forehead, lost in thought about what she could do. 'There is still residue of its arcane powder inside them, but what do I even make with it? I don't see how a bone could be used to make an artefact for reading memories. The eye is better, but they are terrible to work with.'
