Seventeen years have passed since the four received a command before birth, from a being Incomprehensible to them. Landing in Oros, she sets out on a mission to return a holy icon she comes across, only to be pulled into the horrors of Oros and have her faith in the world shattered. Even as her faith in the world crumbles, her journey never ends, and through it she is drawn closer to the choice she must make.

With one prophecy before birth, 'Defend the Dove of Salvation, ' Oliver rises from a Lordless Knight, searching for a liege he doesn't know to become the greatest sword in the realm. Oliver travels, fighting battle after battle, serving men he hates, desperately trying to rise within Veston, just so he can find the one he is destined to serve.

Other than the first short arc, which introduced all the characters at once, each arc will focus on a person's story unless they meet or are in close proximity to one another.  Each arc won't just solely focus on the MC POV, but characters around their immediate orbit or are extremely important to the plot, but if it ever switches away from the MC to another character, it will be for a brief time.

"Let's rest." The large man said in a deep voice. Looking up at the sky, Alice frowned, seeing that it was still earlier than it usually would be. Sensing her confusion and annoyance with his order, the large man let out a deep exhale. "We had to run and push the horses today. Although they are different from southern horses, they still must rest." Patting the side of its neck, his fingers worked their way up into its thick mane. With a deep scratch, the horse made a sound, one that could only mean enjoyment. "They are fearless beasts; they must be, but it doesn't mean their instincts aren't there. That swarm earlier would have awakened something in them, and even if it doesn't realise it, it must let its body and mind calm down."
