Up in the tree branches, Alice sat dangling her feet off the edge, with a small grin as the blue orbs frantically flew around, each saying words along the lines of 'not here'. Although she didn't care if she played with them, the creature sitting next to the tree roots had practically begged her to indulge the orbs, with the promise that they would talk afterwards. With that, she decided on hide-and-seek, as it meant she didn't have to do much.
After the ninth round, it was the last one before her end of the deal was over, and finally she saw the blue orbs circle the bottom of the tree, flying up. When one found her, it zipped around madly, a childish laugh coming from it, copied by the rest of the orbs that soon flew in the air, seemingly greeting Alice, happy they won the game.
