Falling foward, Alice leaned against the neck of the horse and sighed, looking out at the grey wasteland. It had been a few hours since leaving, and whilst at first she was excited, now that she began her travel, she couldn't help but be bored. Everything was the same. The Black tress with white leaves. The ash-coloured ground. The sunlight that was more white than anything else. She had wondered when the things the two had warned her about would show up, but forgetting the horrors, she hadn't even seen a normal animal.
"How long will this take?" Alice asked, with a listless tone, getting a roll of the eyes from the two.
"Depends on the weather as well as if we encounter anything on the way. Give or take a week and a half." The scarred woman replied, earning a deep sigh from Alice.
