Duba's POV----
Duba looked on at the cheif with a burning determination that seemed to burn brighter than his will to live. And without a moment's hesitation he flashed right in front if the chefi ad he then delivered upper cut with left fist that surprisingly.
"Kghhh! What?!" The chief looked at up as his head flew up with a vibration that could've turned his head into a rattle. Duba saw this and a furious smile perked up on his face as his body(Kiria's) moved on entire instinct as it grabbed Kakisa's giant left hand with his own punny but surprisingly muscular right arm. He pulled him forward with incredible force that Kakisa had no time to react to as he swiftly delivered a knee to his mid abdomen(diaphragm area) but-
"Hah, hah. Who said this was game kid?" Cheif Kakisa who taken more than enough of this humiliation had gathered enough fury and focus to block Duba's hit.
He then swiftly caught Kiria's right leg and hurled him just past the ulterior and to the wall that lain behind it. A thunderous explosion blasted on Kiria's impact with the wall and so did a cloud of dust that shielded his reaction from Kakisa's gaze. Whose face was actually... barely scratched at all. As well there being no blood from it. It seemed that hit that Duba had thrown earlier only had an internal rather than external effect. But-
"Nggggh, this kid... first he dares to play around with us and now he's to play sort of-" Kakisa grumbled briefly before his breath caught on his words and his gaze remained transfixed on something that quite terribly surprised him.
"Ugh, this is quite the predicament," Duba's voice echoed from the fairly fast fading dust cloud that had formed from his impact with the wall behind him. And as it finally cleared, we see why the cheif reacted in the way he did. Duba's or rather Kiria's body had sustained zero to no damage as well. Not even any internal kind of hit was inflicted upon him. And this left Kakisa truly baffled and...
"How... dammit?" He said as his fists clenched, his heart thumbed against his chest and his vision turned as red a man united outfit. He dashed forward without hesitation as his huge left fist lunged towards Duba and in that moment it felt like everything had come to as slow. The air. The sensation of touch. The sensation of all that surrounded him. Duba had entered that state where one could quite literally feel the flow and move within the flow of nothing. But instead of moving ahead or attacking he took this time to reflect.
"Nch, nch, nch. Using this body is a huge disadvantage to me right now. I mean, its refined but only in spiritual essence. That's quite literally the only reason as to why this body can even inflict that kind of damage huh?" He thought as his gaze fell onto his right had which he lifted as he twisted and checked the palm of it. And it was... fairly worth of approval. Because at least in his eyes he could see that this child had been toiling on with his body. Most likely training for this day and the numerous challenges ut held. Nad he couldn't blame him anymore. But then again, this infuriated him because why in the good name of all in between would this boy go ahead and drown his soul body in dense spiritual essence filled areas. With it being one the main things that literally hindered any candidate from progressing into the moon realm. Foolish child. He thought. He must have been preparing for the essence drop test.
*The essense drop test is the quite literal 'first hell' of the of the Rite of Chord Bondage Ritual as it a trail that embeds candidates with saturated spiritual essence before further advancing in the trail.*
*Saturated spiritual essence is spiritual energy that has been refined into an internal form of it. Meaning that it can be used in the body of the candidate without truly changing their soul bodies states. Meanwhile kne would simply imagine unsaturated spiritual essence being the opposite. That's why Kiria's body is now as hard and brittle as an alloy on this planet.*
*With the reason for saturation of spiritual essence being that it helps candidates to stay alive in their half-dead half-alive state when they are sent to the moon realm. Saturated spiritual essence does this by creating a new path of soul essence circulation within the soul body. In which will be looked onto detail as the story further progresses.*
