Violet slowly rose from the marble floor, the submissive, weeping martyr transforming into a cold, venomous queen in a single breath. The tears on her face dried into tracks of pure malice as she stared down at the trembling, paralyzed frame of Alpha Varg. She let out a sharp, mocking laugh, her violet eyes flashing with a sickening triumph.
"If only your foolish uncle hadn't broken the curse, you would still be living your grand, ignorant life, Varg! You should still in love with me!" Violet hissed, her voice dripping with years of accumulated hatred.
She stepped closer, her silk gown trailing through the fresh blood on the stone.
"But don't worry, darling. I will not kill you. I will build a special place for you in this very palace. A magnificent cage forged of pure silver, surrounded entirely by thick beds of wolfsbane. You will sit there, frozen and hollow, watching the empire you built crumble to ash."
