The night was dark, and the only light came from Dayal's small furnace. Outside, the wind was blowing hard, but inside the workshop, the atmosphere was even more tense. Dayal held the Soul-Seeker Bronze Blade in his hand. The blue lines on the blade were glowing softly, pulsing like a heartbeat.
Suddenly, the wooden door of the workshop was kicked open. Bang!
Three men walked in. It was Shaktiman and his two followers. Shaktiman was a tall, muscular man who always bullied the poor villagers. He looked at the glowing sword in Dayal's hand and his eyes filled with greed.
"Hey, Dayal!" Shaktiman shouted with a cruel laugh. "Where did a beggar like you get such a beautiful sword? Give it to me, and maybe I won't break your bones today."
In the past, Dayal would have trembled in fear. But today, something was different. The System screen appeared in his vision, glowing with a calm blue light.
[Target Identified: Shaktiman (Level 3 Thug)]
[Threat Level: Very Low]
[System Advice: Use 'Flame Control' to intimidate the enemy.]
Dayal took a deep breath. He felt a strange warmth in his chest. "This sword belongs to me, Shaktiman. Leave my workshop now, or you will regret it," Dayal said, his voice cold and steady.
Shaktiman was shocked. "What? You are talking back to me?" He turned to his men. "Grab him!"
The two thugs rushed forward. One tried to grab Dayal's shoulder, while the other tried to snatch the sword.
[Ding! Agility Boost Activated!]
Suddenly, the world seemed to move in slow motion for Dayal. He moved his body slightly to the left, and the first thug missed him completely, falling onto the floor. Dayal then swung the flat side of his bronze blade, hitting the second thug in the stomach.
"Oof!" The man flew back and crashed into a pile of coal.
Shaktiman's face turned red with anger. "You little brat! I will kill you!" He pulled out a heavy iron rod and swung it at Dayal's head.
This was the moment Dayal wanted to test his new power. He remembered the reward from the System: Flame Control. He focused his mind on the fire in the furnace.
[Skill Activated: Flame Control (Level 1)]
Suddenly, a stream of fire jumped out of the furnace and wrapped around Dayal's bronze sword. The blade was now covered in dancing orange flames, but Dayal's hand did not feel the heat. He felt like the fire was a part of his own body.
Shaktiman stopped in his tracks, his eyes wide with terror. "Magic... You are a magician?"
"I am a creator," Dayal replied. He swung the flaming sword in the air, creating a wall of fire between him and the thugs. "And if you don't leave, this fire will burn everything you have."
The heat was so intense that Shaktiman's hair started to singe. He realized he was no match for this new Dayal. "Run! Let's get out of here!" Shaktiman screamed. The three thugs ran out of the workshop as fast as they could, disappearing into the darkness of the village.
Dayal let out a long breath. The flames on the sword disappeared, and the workshop became quiet again. His heart was beating fast, but he felt a sense of victory he had never known before.
[Ding! Emergency Mission Completed!]
[Experience Points Gained: +50]
[Level Up! You are now Level 2]
[New Feature Unlocked: System Shop (Basic)]
A new window opened in front of him. It looked like an online store, but instead of clothes or electronics, it sold rare materials: Star Iron, Phoenix Feather, Dragon Blood Ore.
"This is unbelievable," Dayal whispered. With this shop, he didn't need to search for scrap metal anymore. He could buy the best materials in the universe if he had enough points.
But then, the System voice spoke again, sounding more serious this time.
[Warning: The noise of the battle and the magic fire have attracted attention. Someone powerful is coming to Dariyapur. Host must prepare.]
Dayal looked at his humble workshop. He knew his life as a simple village boy was over. To protect his family and his tradition, he had to become the strongest artisan in the world. He had to become the Bronze God.
He sat down by the furnace and began to study the System Shop. He needed to craft something even better. He needed armor.
