Chapter 18: The Border Crisis
Time flew by like a white horse passing a crack, and Ukko's team had spent three years in the Multi-System Fusion Research Institute of the Element Sanctuary. In three years, they had each achieved significant accomplishments in their respective fields, becoming highly regarded existences within the academy. Ukko's Water Flow Fist became more and more exquisite, Emilia's potion recipes were constantly innovative, Reynard's swordsmanship fused the power of lightning, and Lilith's runes became more mysterious and powerful.
However, peaceful days are always short-lived.
On this day, an emergency alarm suddenly sounded in the Element Sanctuary, the piercing cries echoing throughout the entire academy.
Ukko's team immediately put down their research and rushed to the academy's square.
A large number of students and teachers had already gathered in the square, their expressions serious and the atmosphere tense.
The Dean of the academy stood on the high platform, and announced with a grave expression: "Students, teachers, the border is in crisis! The Warrior Kingdom has suddenly launched an attack on our country, and the border defense line is already in critical condition!"
"The Warrior Kingdom!" A commotion immediately broke out in the square. The Warrior Kingdom was a country on Echoplanet known for its brave and skilled warriors, they worshiped force, and had always coveted the Element Kingdom.

"I hope that all students will actively sign up and contribute their strength to the country!" The Dean said with impassioned words.
As soon as the Dean's words fell, a warm response sounded in the square. Many students raised their hands to express their willingness to go to the border to support.
Ukko's team looked at each other, and they also raised their hands without hesitation.
"Very good, I am very happy to see everyone being so active," the Dean nodded with satisfaction. "The academy will select a group of students to support the border based on everyone's strength and willingness. The specific list will be announced later."
After the Dean finished speaking, he turned and left.
The students in the square began to discuss, they were all guessing whether they would be selected.
Ukko's team also felt a little uneasy, they all hoped to be selected and contribute their strength to the country.
"Ukko, do you think we will be selected?" Emilia asked with some worry.
"I believe that we will definitely be selected," Ukko said firmly. "We are all members of the Multi-System Fusion Research Institute, our strength is stronger than others, and we have the ability to defend the country."

Soon, the academy announced the list of students going to the border to support.
The names of Ukko's team were prominently listed.
