Chapter 1: The Rainy Encounter
It was a gloomy Tuesday in Seoul. Min-ho was rushing to a meeting when a sudden downpour started. He didn't have an umbrella and was about to get soaked. Suddenly, a bright yellow umbrella appeared over his head.
"You'll catch a cold," a soft voice said. It was Shin-hye. She handed him the umbrella and ran into her flower shop before he could even say thank you.
Chapter 2: The Search
Min-ho couldn't stop thinking about the girl with the yellow umbrella. He went back to the same spot the next day, but the flower shop was closed. He looked at the handle of the umbrella and saw a small tag: "Property of Petals & Memories."
For the next week, he visited the shop every evening. Finally, he found her. She was busy arranging lilies. When she saw him, she smiled. "Oh, you're the 'No-Umbrella' guy!"
Chapter 3: A Shared Secret
They started meeting every day. Min-ho told her why he hated rain—it reminded him of the day he lost his parents. Shin-hye listened quietly and gave him a white camellia flower, which means 'perfected loveliness' and 'waiting'.
"From now on," she said, "rain won't be about sadness. It will be about us meeting."
The Twist
One day, Min-ho discovered an old photo in his father's diary. It was a photo of two little kids playing in the rain with a yellow umbrella. He realized that Shin-hye was his childhood best friend whom he had forgotten after the accident.
The Ending
Min-ho rushed to the shop during a heavy storm. He found Shin-hye standing outside, looking at the sky. He walked up to her, held the same yellow umbrella over her, and said, "I finally remembered. It was always you."
