Chapter 11: Special Store Goods

Previously, Entei had witnessed Holt use his strange power once, and afterward, Holt had fallen into a deep sleep due to the exhaustion.

"You're still too young to fully control this power," Entei said in a deep voice. "It will drain your energy. Do not use it again without my permission."

Holt was confused by this statement.

What was Entei talking about?

He had used the system and didn't have to burn his life force or sacrifice his soul; he only needed to spend a few Shock Points!

But seeing Entei's serious expression, Holt realized that Entei must have misunderstood something.

He tried to explain, but all he could do was make baby noises. In the end, he gave up.

Entei's gaze then turned to Marshadow.

It was about to speak, but it saw Holt approach with the leftover MooMoo Milk bottle. Holt poured some milk into the bottle and crawled toward Marshadow, holding it out to offer.

Both Entei and Marshadow were taken aback.

As guests, Entei and Holt had been drinking MooMoo Milk together, and it was only polite to share with Marshadow too.

"Drink up!" Holt said, offering the bottle.

Marshadow stared in disbelief. The little one... was offering food to it?

Marshadow was still stunned by this action.

"Woah!" Holt urged, looking up at Marshadow.

Marshadow's face showed clear astonishment. It opened its mouth slightly, confused by the human child's actions.

Seeing that Marshadow was not moving, Holt tilted his head in confusion.

He looked at the bottle and then pushed it closer to Marshadow.

"This is a gift from Holt to you. Take it!" Entei's deep voice echoed in Holt's mind.

Entei walked over to Holt, not paying attention to Marshadow, and gently picked up Holt by his clothes, taking him back to the soft leaf bed Entei had prepared.

Marshadow remained silent, its ghostly flames flickering softly, burning in place.

A moment later, it bent down, picked up the bottle of MooMoo Milk from the ground, and stared at Entei and Holt. After a long pause, it quietly melted into the shadows, disappearing from sight.

Holt smiled, satisfied. Marshadow had really helped him out just now!

This time, Holt received 25 Shock Points from Marshadow's surprise, and when added to the 15 he had earned earlier, and after deducting the 5 used for MooMoo Milk, Holt now had 35 Shock Points—a nice sum.

Holt opened the system shop.

He saw various items available for use, like Poké Balls to catch Pokémon, Rare Candies to level up Pokémon, and [Secret Power] to create secret bases—things that required a lot of Shock Points. For now, they were out of reach.

Rather than those, he focused on practical items that he could use.

For example, a soft and comfortable bed, new clothes, a toilet, a windproof door, and kitchen utensils.

As Holt focused, more items that met his needs appeared in the shop.

**[Baby Crib: A bed designed for babies, equipped with safety features to prevent falls. Cost: 500 Shock Points.]**

**[Automatic Water Toilet: A toilet designed for personal hygiene. It needs to be installed in a location with a water supply and can be connected to a reverse space system. The waste will be automatically flushed into the reverse world. Cost: 1000 Shock Points.]**

Holt's thoughts: "What... Reverse World?!"

Wouldn't Arceus come and kill him if he used that?!

**[Baby Clothes: A full set of clothes for babies, suitable for all four seasons. Cost: 200 Shock Points.]**

**[Door: A door that provides privacy and security. It adapts to any doorframe. Cost: 300 Shock Points.]**

**[Kitchenware: A full set of cooking utensils. Cost: 500 Shock Points.]**

**[Wooden Flooring: Automatically changes the flooring of the home. Cost: 500 Shock Points.]**

Holt stared at these expensive items, silently sighing. The "large sum" of Shock Points he had couldn't even afford one item.

The only good thing was that there were so many useful household items. Even if he never returned to a human town, he and Entei could live comfortably on Mt. Tengan.

Thinking this, Holt continued to search the shop.

Soon, other items appeared, different from the usual household goods.

**[Farmland: A 9x9 field with high-quality soil that allows any crop to grow well. It can be set up anywhere. Cost: 5000 Shock Points.]**

**[Fish Pond: A pond with a water circulation system for breeding ordinary edible fish, as well as providing a perfect living environment for Water-type Pokémon. Cost: 5000 Shock Points.]**

**[Automatic Sprinkler: An automatic watering device that can be placed in farmland to water the plants. Cost: 1000 Shock Points.]**

So expensive!

Holt glanced at the Trainer section of the shop.

**[Poké Ball (Red & White): Used to catch wild Pokémon, with average performance. Cost: 200 Shock Points.]**

**[Rare Candy: A special candy used to level up Pokémon. Price depends on the Pokémon's level. For lower-level Pokémon, it costs 1000 Shock Points. The price increases based on the Pokémon's level, reaching up to 100,000 Shock Points per candy.]**

100,000 Shock Points?!

Holt could only imagine that would be for a level 99 Pokémon evolving to level 100.

However, in the real world, there was no such thing as levels, and Pokémon strength fluctuated based on various factors, including their bond with their trainer. It was impossible for him to make an accurate judgment.

"Looks like I'll need to figure out how to get more Shock Points," Holt muttered to himself.

For now, he had to focus on improving his and Entei's living conditions.

If only he were in the human world.

But with his current young body, he couldn't use the tactic of riding a Legendary Pokémon to battle rookie trainers and earn Shock Points.

In that case, he'd have to think of ways to earn Shock Points through Pokémon around him.

But then again, he wondered... since he earned Shock Points from the whole incident with Entei, if he went to Ho-Oh on Mt. Tengan and used his powers there, would he earn even more Shock Points?

No... If that happened, Ho-Oh would probably kill him, right?
