The people who inspired me on my writing journey are those who left comments on the websites I post on. Seeing how people are delighted by my works and enjoy reading what I write inspires and motivates me to keep going. These are the people who played a part in my success through writing poetry and stories. Another person to inspire my goals of writing was Taylor Swift, a singer-songwriter that creates stories through her music and lyrics. I have listened to her songs my entire life, so she was one of my first inspirations that came to mind once I got into writing during the start of high school. The one who challenged my skills in writing was none other than myself. After all, oftentimes you are your own worst critic. That certainly rings true for me, as I'm always pushing myself to try out new things with my writing to improve where I believe to be lacking. Even now after several years of practice, there are still plenty of things I need to work on. I'll continue to practice and hone my skills in writing for the rest of my life. I cannot imagine a better way to spend my time than doing something that will bring people joy. Writing is my way of communicating with others and expressing my emotions, thoughts, beliefs, and ideas. I hope that someday I can inspire others to create, as well.
