Doflamingo laughed cruelly.
"Run."
"Go on—run!"
The entire southeastern coast of Green Bit had already transformed.
The ground, trees, and surroundings were covered in threads.
Doflamingo's String-String Fruit Awakening had assimilated the entire battlefield.
Law lay on the ground, badly injured.
Doflamingo pinned him down with one hand.
In his other hand—
The deadly Five-Colored Strings formed.
"Is this… your Devil Fruit awakening?" Law asked weakly.
"What else?" Doflamingo smirked.
"Are you waiting for someone?"
"I'll tell you now."
"No one is coming."
The strings slashed downward toward Law's chest.
At that moment—
Law shouted with all his strength.
"Aren't you afraid your SMILE factory will be destroyed?!"
Doflamingo paused for half a second.
Then Caesar suddenly shouted.
"Joker!"
"This heart isn't mine!"
"I can't feel it beating!"
Doflamingo instantly realized the truth.
Law had tricked them.
The Straw Hats had already infiltrated Dressrosa to destroy the SMILE factory.
"Fufufufufu…"
Doflamingo's smile became even more vicious.
"Doesn't matter."
"I'll kill you first."
"And then deal with the Straw Hats one by one."
He raised his hand again.
But suddenly—
He noticed something strange.
Law was staring at the sky.
Doflamingo turned.
Above them—
A burning black fire crow descended rapidly.
Standing atop the flaming construct—
Uchiha Itachi.
Caesar screamed in terror.
"Uchiha Itachi!!"
"He's here!!"
Even without knowing the details of Punk Hazard—
Caesar knew one thing.
The man before him had once fought Admiral Kizaru.
The Clash
As Doflamingo focused on Itachi—
Itachi had already moved.
His sword, coated in Armament Haki, slashed downward.
Doflamingo raised his leg.
Also coated in Haki.
The two attacks collided.
BOOM!
A shockwave burst outward.
Both men slid backward across the ground.
Doflamingo grinned.
"So you really were waiting for him."
"Fufufufufu…"
He examined Itachi carefully.
"The newest Straw Hat pirate."
"The one whose bounty exceeds his captain's."
"It's a shame."
"I was just about to kill you, Law."
Itachi's Mangekyō Sharingan spun slowly.
He stared at Doflamingo.
"Sorry I'm late, Law."
"This man… is Doflamingo?"
Law coughed blood.
"Yes… Itachi."
"Master Itachi…"
His breathing was ragged.
"The plan has changed."
"You're in command now."
"Doflamingo broke the deal."
"I need to take Caesar and leave."
"Understood."
Itachi stepped forward.
"Leave Doflamingo to me."
Three wooden shuriken formed in his palm.
Doflamingo noticed immediately.
"Hm?"
"I thought your ability was fire."
"What's with the wood?"
Itachi didn't answer.
He simply threw the shuriken.
Doflamingo leapt into the air to dodge.
"Throwing weapons?"
"That's it?"
He hadn't finished speaking—
BOOM!
A thick wooden spear erupted behind him.
It slammed into his back and knocked him to the ground.
The wooden pillar instantly wrapped around him.
Binding his body.
"Joker!!" Caesar shouted.
In that moment—
Itachi appeared beside Law.
One clean slash.
The threads binding Law were severed.
Law looked shocked.
"Master Itachi…"
"You've mastered the Root Fruit already?"
"Only a little," Itachi replied calmly.
His Sharingan spun rapidly.
He could see the threads across the battlefield—
All retracting toward Doflamingo.
Suddenly—
A whip-like thread attacked from the side.
Itachi grabbed Law and dodged instantly.
Then he tossed Law toward Caesar.
"It's good you arrived," Law said weakly.
He grabbed Caesar.
"You go first," Itachi said.
He stared at Doflamingo, who was already breaking free.
"Understood."
Law didn't need further explanation.
But before leaving—
He warned him.
"There's another Admiral here."
"He's already moving toward us."
Itachi nodded.
"I know."
His Mangekyō had already scanned the battlefield.
"Go."
Law sighed in amazement.
His observation ability… incredible.
Then he grabbed Caesar and fled.
"If I put him down, he'll run back to you!"
Doflamingo vs Itachi
Doflamingo tried to chase them.
But Itachi stepped forward.
Blocking his path.
"Your opponent is me."
Itachi formed hand seals.
"Fire Release — Phoenix Flower Jutsu!"
Multiple fireballs burst toward Doflamingo.
Doflamingo stepped back.
The fireballs exploded across the ground.
"Fufufufu…"
"I've been curious about you."
"You appeared out of nowhere among the Straw Hats."
"There's no information about you anywhere."
"And your abilities…"
Before he could finish—
Itachi had already rushed forward.
Using the smoke from the explosions as cover.
His sword thrust forward.
Doflamingo stepped back to dodge.
He countered with claw-like threads.
Itachi flipped through the air and slashed upward.
Doflamingo retreated again.
Slash.
Stab.
Turn.
Another strike.
Doflamingo continued retreating.
He clearly had no intention of fighting seriously yet.
"Fufufufu…"
"You're interesting."
Suddenly—
A wooden spear shot from behind him again.
Doflamingo leapt high to avoid it.
But at that moment—
Heavy footsteps approached.
Fujitora had arrived.
The Admiral Appears
Itachi noticed immediately.
So he came.
Doflamingo smirked.
"You wanted to stall until he arrived?"
"What else?"
"I'm not interested in fighting you right now."
He glanced toward Fujitora.
The Admiral stepped forward slowly.
"I sensed a powerful presence earlier."
"Fujitora," Doflamingo said casually.
"This one is troublesome."
He grinned.
"Did you know?"
"This man received an 80 million bounty immediately after Punk Hazard."
"For the first time in history…"
"A crew member received a higher bounty than his captain."
He looked at Fujitora.
"So tell me…"
"What exactly happened at Punk Hazard?"
Fujitora raised his cane sword slightly.
"An eighty million bounty…"
"I see."
"You must be Uchiha Itachi."
Doflamingo chuckled.
"Yes, Fujitora."
"And now—"
Suddenly—
Doflamingo noticed something.
He turned sharply.
Itachi stood still.
Blood was running down from his eyes.
Doflamingo's pupils shrank.
"…What is this?"
Itachi spoke calmly.
"I was waiting."
"For both of you to arrive."
The Mangekyō Sharingan glowed.
"Amaterasu."
Black flames exploded into existence.
