Location: N.D.A.I. Secured Airspace, New Delhi VIP Terminal
The afternoon sun at the N.D.A.I. secured airport terminal was beginning to soften. The 'Vibe Seekers' from the previous flight had already settled into the lawn, but the airport atmosphere was about to undergo a radical shift. A deep, mechanical growl echoed in the sky—this was no standard jet engine. It was Mason Steele's personal stealth luxury jet, equipped with state-of-the-art noise-suppression technology.
"Mason is playing a long game," Adiraj remarked, checking his watch as it struck exactly 02:15 PM. "He's kept arrogant men like Victor Stellar on hold and sent those he knows are our friends first. He knows that in the eleven months since 'The Glitch' began on January 1, 2025, through the six Global Summits held so far, Shiva has built a profound rapport with these people."
Aaryan stood nearby and nodded. "That's the tactic, Adi. When an enemy wears the mask of friendship, our defensive guard naturally drops. Mason is testing our hospitality."
Shiva snapped his fingers toward the DJ booth. Instantly, the light ambient music on the runway shifted violently. A low-frequency bass erupted from the speakers, making the tarmac concrete shudder. This was Full Bass Phonk. Aggressive cowbells and distorted rhythmic beats transformed the atmosphere into a high-octane modern battlefield.
A matte-black luxury jet, bearing the silver logo of 'The Apex Syndicate,' touched down smoothly.
The Arrival of the Elite Squad
As the jet door hissed open, a surge of mana pressure flooded the air. It wasn't hostile, but it was immense. First down the stairs was Jaxson Reed (Rank 22 - USA). He wore a simple tank top and cargo pants, his muscles looking as though they were carved from granite. Following him were Klaus Richter (Germany), Alistair Sterling (UK), and Sierra Fox (USA).
Jaxson didn't bother with the stairs. He looked down, spotted Shiva, and leaped from a height of 20 feet. He landed with a thud that cracked the pavement, but he didn't care.
"SHIVA! You crazy bastard!" Jaxson roared, his voice perfectly matching the aggressive phonk bass.
Shiva stepped forward. The two exchanged a thunderous 'Bro-fist' and pulled each other into a bone-crushing hug. "Jaxson! You've put on some serious mass, man. Have you been living in the gym since the Switzerland summit?" Shiva laughed, slapping his back.
"Gym is life, bro! But your parties are legendary," Jaxson said, before turning to Adiraj. Adiraj tried to maintain his cold exterior, but Jaxson pulled him into a tight 'Bear Hug' as well. Adiraj offered a rare, slight smile, acknowledging Jaxson's loyalty.
Klaus Richter and Alistair Sterling descended next. Klaus, a world-class Technomancer, adjusted his holographic glasses and shook hands with Adiraj. "The mana-engine prototype we discussed in Berlin six months ago is ready, Adi. I'll show it to you after the party."
Alistair hugged Shiva, joking, "Shiva, I heard you served so much alcohol at the last summit that people forgot whether they were there to sign a treaty or not. We're all fans, man!"
The runway was filled with laughter and memories of past summits. To the world, they were 'Sovereigns,' but to Shiva, they were simply his 'Dunger Brothers.'
The Silent Shadow: Sierra Fox
Amidst the boisterous arrivals, Sierra Fox (Rank 23) walked down the stairs quietly. Naturally shy and reserved, she was rarely comfortable without her dual energy pistols, but today she was scanning the crowd for Shiva.
Shiva spotted her immediately. "Sierra! Why are you standing in the corner?"
Sierra stepped forward hesitantly, a faint, genuine smile touching her lips—a look reserved only for her friends. Shiva embraced her warmly. Sierra was briefly awkward but hugged him back, knowing Shiva was one of the few people who treated her like a human being rather than a 'Weapon.' She was always the first to laugh at his terrible jokes.
"India... is very big," Sierra said softly, her tone still shy.
"Big and loud! Just like your mind," Shiva teased, and Sierra playfully punched his shoulder.
When she turned to Adiraj, her demeanor shifted to professional respect. Adiraj's aura—that of a 'Strict Big Brother'—was logic-driven and cold. Sierra didn't hug him; she extended her hand formally.
"Master Adiraj," she said softly.
Adiraj took her hand and gave a professional smile. "Welcome to India, Sierra. I hope your journey was comfortable." The handshake was a testament to their mutual professional respect.
The Technomancer's Wink
As the group moved toward the VIP lounge, they reached the 'Golden Archway.' Klaus Richter, the Technomancer, stopped dead in his tracks. He lowered his glasses and scrutinized the metal plating of the archway.
He turned to Adiraj with a mischievous smile and a wink.
"Passive Soul-Resonance Scanning? Really, Adi?" Klaus whispered into Adiraj's ear, keeping it away from the others. "I hope you scanned my 'Good Side.' If my MP comes out low, I'm hacking your server."
Adiraj paused for a micro-second, then gave a slight nod. "It's hard to hide anything from you, Klaus. It's just protocol."
"I know, I know," Klaus laughed, patting Adiraj's shoulder. "We're old friends; I'll allow it."
The Melting Pot
Within minutes, the group entered the VIP lawn, joining the 'Chill Squad' (Jin-Woo, Alessia, etc.). The sight was unprecedented: fifteen S-Rankers, representing the pinnacle of global military power, sitting together. Phonk music thumped in the background as they walked barefoot on the grass and sampled premium delicacies.
However, as evening approached, the conversation took an unexpected turn. While impressed by the luxury, they were more interested in the 'Sanctuary'—Shiva's home—where he lived with his family.
Jaxson took a large sip of his drink and looked at Shiva. "Listen, Shiva... this is all great. But we've heard your home has a completely different vibe. We want to meet your family. We want to see your house, man!"
Jin-Woo Park and Sierra nodded in agreement. This request was a diplomatic bombshell. An S-Ranker's home is their private territory, yet these people were asking as friends.
Adiraj looked at Shiva. His mind immediately began calculating—taking this many S-Rankers to the bungalow was a security nightmare. But refusing these friends was nearly impossible.
