Each displayed glowing cores and physical fragments of A-Rank and B+ Rank bosses—massive bones, razor-sharp teeth, and metallic scales.
Adiraj walked forward with a sense of calm authority. Behind him, Vikram and Raghav followed with deep respect. Adiraj moved through this restricted zone as naturally as one would walk through their own backyard. He beckoned Rudra to his side.
"These are the cores and fragments of the highest-tier bosses Garud Vajra has hunted," Adiraj explained in a steady voice, his eyes scanning the collection.
He stopped at a massive pedestal and picked up two heavy, dark, and jagged horns. The dark energy emanating from them was so potent that small black sparks crackled in the surrounding air.
"These are the horns of an A+ Rank Skeleton Boss," Adiraj said, studying the relics. "This boss was exceptionally dangerous. It took me 2 to 3 minutes to kill it."
Rudra's analytical circuits flared with a sharp shock. Leaving the mask behind, Adiraj turned and asked a cold, practical question. "Is there a limit to how many blood-contracts you can form? How many beasts can your Soul Sanctuary hold?"
Rudra focused on the dark recesses of his mind. "What is my limit?"
Ruin Soul's calculating voice echoed instantly. "Given your current 380,000 MP and your current mental capacity, you can strictly hold only 3 shadow beasts. Any more would cause your mind to shatter under the pressure of the dark energy."
Rudra looked at Adiraj and replied without hesitation. "I can only hold 3 contracts at this time."
Adiraj processed the information logically. "Your first contract is with the bear, Gabbar. That leaves you with two open slots. Good."
Adiraj returned to the pedestals. He gathered the dark horns of the A+ Rank Skeleton Boss and the razor-edged feather of the A+ Rank Phoenix Boss, along with their respective A+ Rank mana cores, and handed them to Rudra.
"Place these into your Soul Sanctuary for filtration," Adiraj commanded. "These two A+ Rank entities will push your speed and stealth to a level beyond comprehension."
Rudra gripped the heavy, powerful fragments. Without wasting a microsecond, he closed his eyes and issued a cold command.
"Devour."
The shadow beneath his feet began to boil like black ink. It surged upward, first consuming the Phoenix core and feather, transferring them directly into his Soul Sanctuary. Rudra felt a sudden, searing heat ignite in his chest, as if his insides were on fire. He maintained a perfectly calm expression.
Next, he repeated the process for the Skeleton Boss materials. The shadow swallowed the dark, heavy horns. This time, instead of heat, an icy, heavy aura of death flowed into his chest, momentarily weighing down his heartbeat.
Both A+ Rank entities were now locked within the filtration chamber. Ruin Soul's dark mana began the complex task of incinerating their wild, chaotic wills. It would be a lengthy process; their willpower was formidable.
Adiraj noted that the process had stabilized and that Rudra was handling the immense pressure smoothly.
"Excellent," Adiraj said with a faint, calm smile. "Inform me when the contracts with these two are complete."
With that, Adiraj turned to leave. Vikram and Raghav followed. The four men exited the ancient vault, and as they did, the massive metallic door sealed shut once more with a heavy mechanical groan.
