"How was the food?" Vikram asked with a warm smile.
"It was very good, Bhaiya," Rudra replied naturally, his voice carrying genuine respect.
Vikram placed a paternal hand on his shoulder. "Come, let me show you your new home."
The three of them began walking. As they traversed the broad, reinforced concrete roads of the HQ, Rudra looked at the massive buildings and the sheer scale of the facility with silent awe.
The Architecture of Survival
Vikram pointed ahead as he began the explanation. "When the Hell Gates first opened eight months ago, building a fortress of this magnitude from scratch was impossible for humans in such a short time. Instead, we cleared this massive Industrial and Manufacturing hub in Central Mumbai and began to reconstruct and fortify it into our Headquarters."
Rudra now understood why the area felt so organized and industrial. It was an adaptive fortress built upon the bones of the old world.
"The entire area spans a 2.5 kilometer radius and is divided into five distinct sectors," Vikram continued. He pointed toward a heavily guarded, dome-shaped building in the distance. "Those are Sector 1 and Sector 2. Sector 1 is our Central Node—the brain of the HQ and the site of our Energy Reactor. Sector 2 is the Research and Forge Zone, where high-grade weapons are forged from monster materials. Only highly authorized officials are allowed there, so we will be bypassing it for now."
Rudra nodded in understanding. He respected the rules; a new recruit was never granted access to a guild's deepest secrets immediately.

As they walked, they entered Sector 3, a transition zone filled with advanced Magitech infrastructure.
Sector 3 (Combat & Medical Hub): Vikram pointed to a vast ground surrounded by thick walls made of earth and concrete. "These are the Mage Training Grounds. The walls are reinforced with 'Mana-Dampening' materials by Earth-Mages so that destructive magical blasts don't damage the rest of the HQ."
The Healing Center: Opposite the training grounds stood a pristine, white multi-story building. "That is our hospital. Whether it's a training injury or a raid wound, we have top-class medical staff and healing mages available 24/7."
Rudra noted the line of ambulances and quick-deployment vehicles parked nearby. His protective nature grew stronger as he realized this place was a literal lifeline for humanity.
The Heart of the Fortress
The biggest shock for Rudra came when they reached Sector 4.
This was the residential and civilian area. Between retro-fitted apartment blocks lay beautiful gardens where young children were playing without a trace of fear. There was an internal market where people could obtain basic rations and clothing. Rudra's eyes brightened. For eight months, he had seen nothing but destruction and gray ruins. Here, life was flourishing.

Massive Water Purification Plants and Solar Backup systems were built into these walls to ensure the guild remained self-sufficient even during a siege. The attention to detail, down to the emergency sirens in every sector, made Rudra realize how perfect the planning was.

The tour concluded near a quiet residential block in Sector 4. Vikram turned to Rudra, having noticed the hunger for growth in the boy's eyes.
"Rudra," Vikram said in a soft, supportive tone. "Would you like some A-Rank Essence Stones to help you grow your power and training?"
