| Time: 12:00 PM (N.D.A. HQ, Ruined Secret Lab)
The air within the laboratory was still thick with the residue of violent mana-particles. Amidst the heaps of shattered glass and scorched equipment, Chirag slowly raised his hands, observing the faint tremor in his fingers. He could feel the pulse within his chest—it was heavier, more rhythmic, and far more powerful than the heart he was born with. He looked around the room, taking in the scene: Adiraj stood with eyes blurred by tears, Kavir's face was slick with sweat, and Rudra... Rudra stood silent, holding Kiara with a stoic grace that felt as ancient as a mountain.
"Kavir..." Chirag's voice was raspy, a ghost of its former self, yet it carried the undeniable weight of command. "How long... how long was I in that darkness?"
Kavir wiped his glasses, exhaling a breath he seemed to have held for over a year. "Sir, you were in a coma for exactly one year and two months."
Chirag's eyes widened in genuine shock. "A year? That much time has passed?"
The Survival Debt
Kavir activated a nearby holographic display, projecting the classified surgical records of the N.D.A.
"Your condition at that time was beyond critical, Sir. If Adiraj had not extracted you from that battlefield the very moment he did, you would have passed away that day. We shifted you to this facility, but our science was failing. Your body was rapidly surrendering to the void."
Chirag placed a hand over his sternum, feeling the golden-violet radiance humming beneath his skin.
Kavir continued, his voice steadying. "However, according to the contingency plan you had designed, Rudra hunted down the Legendary General alone. From that slaughter, Rudra obtained the two most vital components for your survival: the Legendary General's Heart and a Level-Up Element. I used that element to force my own evolution into S-Rank, granting me the surgical precision required to perform the most complex operation in human history."
Adiraj nodded solemnly, the terror of that day still visible in the lines of his face.
The SSS Sacrifice
"I managed to transplant the Legendary Heart into your frame," Kavir explained, his voice lowering. "But your biology began to reject it. The power was too vast; your veins were on the verge of rupturing. It was then... that Rudra did the unthinkable."
Rudra remained still, his violet gaze locked onto Chirag's, his hand resting protectively on Kiara's head.
"In the middle of the surgery, Rudra began to transfer his own SSS-Rank Aura into your system," Kavir revealed. "That aura acted as the bridge, synchronizing the Legendary Heart with your biological structure. Sir, the reason you are alive today—and the reason your aura now fluctuates at SSS-levels—is because Rudra gave a fragment of his very soul to you."
Chirag was stunned. He realized then that the root of the power now surging through his limbs belonged to the boy standing before him.
"The sheer intensity of that transfer kept you in a coma as your body struggled to absorb the SSS-energy," Kavir concluded. "And the price for Rudra was absolute. He incurred a Corrupted Curse that shackled his potential and suppressed his strength for an entire year. That curse only broke recently, when he decimated the Emerald Guardian in Siberia."
The Silent King's Response
Chirag looked at Rudra. The man whom the world addressed as 'President' and the 'Pinnacle of SS-Rank' felt humbled by the nineteen-year-old standing in the ruins. Rudra had sacrificed his 'Golden Era' to save a friend.
"Rudra..." Chirag spoke softly. "Why? You knew that such a risk could have ended your career—perhaps even your life."
Rudra handed Kiara back to Adiraj and stepped forward. His 1,490,000 Base MP caused a subtle, heavy pressure to ripple through the room.
"My brother taught me one thing," Rudra replied calmly. "A sword is only as good as the moment it is drawn, and a man is only a man when he acts as a shield for those he calls family. The world needed its President, but I... I was just fulfilling a debt to a comrade."
A look of immense pride settled on Chirag's face. He sensed that Rudra was no longer the child he remembered. There was an aura of Sovereign's Authority surrounding him that rivaled Chirag's own legend.
"We are both awake now, Kavir," Chirag said, a slight smile playing on his lips despite his exhaustion. "The world thought Garud Vajra had weakened. They thought Vikram's passing was the beginning of our end."
Rudra clenched his fist, the violet light in his eyes flaring. "Now they will learn what happens when two Lions wake up at the same time."
