The Rear Guard: A Wall of Absolute Might
The Rear Guard of the Legendary Rank A+ Gate was a realm of oppressive silence, but the mana density here was so extreme that the very air felt viscous, like treading through deep water. Rudra emerged from the shadows and launched a lightning-fast strike at the first Legendary Sentinel.
He drove his Void Edge toward the monster's jugular with surgical precision. But instead of the familiar sound of rending flesh, there was a localized shockwave. The impact sent a bone-jarring vibration through Rudra's arms, hurling him backward.
"Impossible..." Rudra hissed, staring at his trembling hands.
The Sentinel possessed 21 Million MP. Its physical form was so dense, so saturated with legendary-tier mana, that even at Level 38 with a Diamond Tier (2.0\times) multiplier, Rudra's physical strikes were merely superficial. The power gap was a yawning chasm. Within seconds, the surrounding Sentinels closed in, their heavy footsteps causing the metallic floor of the dungeon to groan.
The Voice from the Abyss
Rudra lunged again, but a Sentinel swatted him out of the air like an insect, slamming him into a reinforced wall. His Void-Sync Stealth Suit sparked, struggling to regulate the massive mana-overload from the environment. Blood seeped from the corner of his mouth.
"Master," the Ruin Soul's voice resonated within his mind—cold, ancient, and profoundly disappointed. "You are attempting to fight like a common assassin when you are a Sovereign. These 21M MP gnats are only barriers because you are choosing to remain within your self-imposed limits."
"The gap is too wide, Ruin Soul!" Rudra growled internally, struggling to his feet as the monsters loomed over him.
"Then bridge that gap with your very existence. The time for silent killing has passed. If you wish to reach Level 50 and claim the throne, you must release what you have kept caged. Master... release the SSS+ Aura."
The Unveiling: SSS+ Sovereign Pressure
Rudra closed his eyes. He reached deep into the core of his reservoir, past the Diamond Tier mechanics, into the conceptual abyss he had inherited.
Suddenly, the dungeon walls began to spiderweb with cracks. The neon glow of the Rear Guard was snuffed out, replaced by a suffocating, violet-black energy that seemed to warp the very laws of physics.
"[SKILL ACTIVATED: SSS+ SOVEREIGN AURA - FULL RELEASE]"
As the aura exploded outward, a gravitational force akin to a collapsing star flattened everything in the room. The Sentinels that were about to crush him were instantly forced to their knees. Their 21 Million MP offered no protection; it was like paper trying to withstand a forest fire.
The Harvest of the Void
Rudra took a step forward. With every footfall, the monsters in his vicinity simply ceased to exist. Their mana structures, legendary as they were, could not maintain cohesion under the weight of an SSS+ Sovereign Presence.
This was no longer a battle. It was a mass Erasure.
[NOTIFICATION: MONSTERS SLAIN]

...
[EXP GAINED: GARGANTUAN]
Rudra walked through the metallic jungle like a god of death. He didn't even need to raise his dagger; his mere presence dissolved the enemy at an atomic level. The system notifications began to cascade like a waterfall in his peripheral vision.
[LEVEL UP!]
Level 38 → 42
Level 42 → 45
Level 45 → 47
The Brink of Evolution
Rudra's body was radiating an intense heat as his mana reservoir expanded at a violent pace. His violet eyes had lost their human luster, replaced by the cold, predatory glow of a true Sovereign. Every Legendary soul he harvested brought him closer to the transformation the system had promised.
As the chapter drew to a close, the entire Rear Guard platoon had been reduced to ash. Rudra stood before a titanic, obsidian hall—the threshold to the 'General's Sanctuary.'
[STATUS UPDATE]

Condition: Mana Reservoir Stabilizing at 94%.

Rudra looked at his hand, where the violet smoke was now so dense it felt like liquid darkness. "Three more levels... and then I face the General."
