Chapter 26 - Chapter 26: The Empty Throne and the SS-Rank Ripple

The Eight-Month Milestone: N.D.A. Success

Eight months had passed since the inception of the N.D.A. (National Dunger Association). In those eight months, the world had undergone a radical transformation. Thanks to the 35% Magitech advancement, the Hell Gates that once felt like death warrants were now categorized as 'Manageable.' B-Rank gates were cleared as a matter of routine, and the terror that once gripped the hearts of the public was slowly being replaced by a sense of security.

Yet, amidst this era of stability, a massive question had been looming for the past eight months: Who would be the President of the N.D.A.? An organization that controlled the most powerful warriors on the planet had remained 'headless,' lacking a definitive leader.

The Council Meeting: The Legend's Choice

In a high-security conference room on the top floor of the N.D.A. Headquarters, a secret meeting was underway. High-ranking officials from the Ministry of Defense and top Commissioners were gathered. Adiraj stood by the floor-to-ceiling window, staring out at the city lights.

"Adiraj-sir," a senior official began, breaking the silence. "The N.D.A. needs a face. We have deliberated extensively, and the consensus is unanimous... we want You to become the President of the N.D.A."

The room went silent. Adiraj took a slow, deep breath and turned toward them. Without a shred of hesitation, he gave a flat refusal.

"No. I am a warrior, not an administrator," Adiraj said calmly. "Becoming President doesn't require S-Rank power. We need someone capable—someone with exceptional Administrative and Diplomatic skills. We need a leader whose mind is sharp enough to navigate the nation, even if they possess no 'Dunger power' at all. I belong on the battlefield."

The officials were visibly disappointed, but they knew Adiraj well enough to know he couldn't be swayed by titles or status.

The False Sense of Security

Following the meeting, officials reviewed the latest data. "At least the Gates are under control," an analyst remarked. "With new A-Rankers like Vikram and our updated Magitech gear, Hell Gates in India have become manageable."

Rudra, standing in the hallway and listening to the conversation, allowed a cold, imperceptible smile to touch his lips.

"Master," the Ruin Soul whispered in his mind. "They believe the ocean is calm... they do not realize this is merely the silence before the storm."

Rudra checked his reservoir. He was Level 31, but he knew that this 'Manageable' status was a fragile illusion.

The Global Shockwave: Chirag's Arrival

Suddenly, the red alarms within the N.D.A. H.Q. began to blare. This wasn't a dungeon alert—it was a Global Intelligence Alert.

The holographic screens throughout the building flickered and synchronized. The G.D.A. (Global Dunger Association) had initiated an 'Emergency Broadcast' reaching every device on the planet.

"Ladies and Gentlemen... Human history has changed today," the Director of the G.D.A. appeared on screen, looking visibly shaken. "In the last hour, a power has awakened that has shattered every sensor we possess. The scale of human limits has been rewritten."

A profile of a 20-year-old youth flashed onto the screen. His name was Chirag.

A deathly silence fell over the N.D.A. Headquarters. Every eye was glued to the display.

[GLOBAL NOTIFICATION]

Name: Chirag (Age: 20)

Identity: The World's First SS-RANK Dunger.

Status: Awakened.

But what stunned everyone the most was Chirag's appearance. There was no ego, no arrogance of an S-Ranker. His face was Innocent and Kind. Looking at him didn't instill fear; rather, he looked like a New Ray of Hope for humanity. There was a profound peace in his eyes, as if he hadn't come to fight, but to save.

His real powers and skills remained [HIDDEN]. On the system window, his attributes were replaced by a row of mysterious '???' symbols.

Adiraj's fist clenched. His own suit's sensors began giving 'Infinity' readings just from the digital image of Chirag.

Rudra stared at the massive screen. The SSS+ aura within his reservoir suddenly began to vibrate. Chirag may have looked innocent, but his presence was so immense that the entire world now resided in his shadow.

"So... this is the world's new Sun," Rudra whispered, his violet eyes glowing in the dark hallway.
