Since the two energies were essentially inseparable sisters, an increase in the density of one always led to an increase in the density of the other, which meant these types of cores were rarely distinguished from one another.
They could be extracted from beasts, but their origin almost always came from magical mines, which might contain only mana cores, only aura cores, or, in rare cases, both at the same time.
