Chapter 67 - Might Guy’s Springtime

Uchiha Raizen smirked as he encouraged Might Guy to keep drinking. Ever the hot-blooded soul, Guy downed every cup offered to him with gusto. By the end of the meal, Guy was thoroughly inebriated, his head swaying like a leaf in the wind.

"Eaten and drunk our fill, now it's time for the real business."

Raizen grabbed Guy and led him toward the hidden corners of the Entertainment District.

Kakashi paid the bill and followed behind. Asuma, after a moment's thought, followed as well. Internally, he was plotting: If Raizen enters a brothel, I'll report it to Kurenai immediately. Once she leaves this scumbag, I'll have my chance to pursue her again.

Before long, Raizen dragged Guy to the neon-lit street. Women in thin, revealing clothing stood at the entrances of the small shops lining the path.

Raizen stuffed a thick stack of bills into Guy's pocket and then tore open the buttons of Guy's shirt, exposing his rock-hard, well-defined abdominal muscles.

"Go on, Guy. Tonight, you'll be the star. You're the brightest stud on this street," Raizen whispered, his voice like a hypnotic spell in Guy's ear.

Guy mumbled incoherently, "I'm the brightest stud... the brightest stud... the brightest stud..."

Driven by Raizen's voice, Guy stumbled forward into the district. The moment he entered, the women's eyes lit up. They had seen the handsome "manager" at the entrance stuffing a wad of cash into this bald man's pocket. This was a "fat sheep"—a big spender—and they weren't about to let him pass.

The ladies swarmed him. Suddenly, a woman with a wide waist and limbs like stone pillars shoved aside the more slender girls and stood before Guy.

"Hey handsome, let Feimei (Fatty) take care of you tonight."

Without another word, Feimei scooped up the wiry Might Guy like a child and dashed into her shop with surprising speed.

Watching a plus-sized woman carry Guy away, Kakashi couldn't help but sigh and shake his head. "Raizen, you've really done it now. You've ruined him."

Raizen looked back, baffled. "How is that ruining him? Kakashi, you've got it all wrong."

"A man usually prefers someone slender and beautiful, doesn't he?" Kakashi asked. "Most people would run away from someone that big, yet you set him up with her?"

Raizen grinned at Kakashi. "Hehehe, Kakashi, this is where your lack of experience shows. It makes sense—that's why I write the books and you just read them."

"In a place like this, the beautiful girls are never short of customers. They tend to be cold, arrogant, and provide mediocre service because they're just going through the motions. But a larger woman? She doesn't get many customers. If you choose her, she'll be moved to tears of gratitude. To keep a rare customer like you coming back, she will provide the highest quality service imaginable."

Kakashi's eyes widened, and he nodded slowly. "That... actually makes sense!"

"So, Kakashi, want me to pick a 'Feimei' for you too?" Raizen teased.

Kakashi shook his head vigorously. "I'm good! Maybe introduce one to Asuma instead!"

"Asuma, you want one? My treat!" Raizen turned to the bearded ninja.

Asuma also shook his head hurriedly. "Pass. Leave it all for Guy!"

"Well, since no one else is interested, let's call it a night!" Raizen started walking away.

"Aren't you going in, Raizen?" Asuma asked quickly. He was still waiting to catch Raizen in the act. If Raizen left now, how could he get the dirt on him?

"Do I look like a man who lacks women at home?" Raizen stopped and stared at Asuma with a knowing smile.

"Asuma, you've just come back from a mission, so it's normal you don't know," Kakashi said, patting Asuma's shoulder. "This guy has a literal 'Golden House' full of beauties."

"A Golden House?" Asuma was confused. He had been sent on a mission by his father, the Third Hokage, and had only just returned. He hadn't attended the wedding and knew nothing about Raizen's marriage to the Princess or his "Seeking Heirs" mission.

Raizen laughed and walked off into the night.

Asuma turned to Kakashi. "What exactly did you mean by that?"

"Exactly what I said. Raizen has many women at his compound. Aside from a few maids, the rest are all his... there are about a dozen or so."

Kakashi was still unaware that Raizen had rescued eighteen more kunoichi from Kakuzu and stashed them at the hot spring inn.

"A dozen?!" Asuma's eyes nearly popped out. "How can Kurenai tolerate such a philanderer? Is she being forced?"

"No, I have to rescue Kurenai from that scumbag's clutches!" Asuma declared, moving to head toward the Uchiha district.

Kakashi grabbed him. "Asuma, calm down. It's not what you think."

"How can it not be! I don't believe Kurenai would tolerate this. Raizen must be using some Uchiha trick to control her. Kurenai would never share a man with others!" Asuma shouted emotionally.

"Asuma, if you go there and see the truth, you'll have a breakdown. Kurenai isn't in the state you imagine. She's living a very good, very happy life in the Uchiha compound. And... she's pregnant."

"You can't go there and cause trouble. For your sake, and hers. Princess Tsukihime is also married to Raizen now. If you barge in, you'll be treated as an assassin and killed on the spot."

"Kurenai is... pregnant?" Asuma felt his world shatter. He stumbled, nearly falling.

"Kakashi, you're lying, right? Kurenai can't be happy there, right?" Asuma stared at Kakashi, desperately hoping for a nod.

Kakashi sighed. "Asuma, I'm sorry. Kurenai is very happy. She and Raizen are deeply in love."

"How... how can this be?" "I don't believe it!"

Asuma collapsed onto the ground, then vanished around the corner of the street like a lost soul.

"Sigh," Kakashi watched him go. "I hope you can move on soon, Asuma."

He took one last look at the shop Guy had entered, then turned and disappeared as well.
