"Still prism!!" shouted Orechin the moment the two plushies near the Seamstress jumped towards the group. Thanks to the crystal, Orechin was able to slow down the plushies from coming near the party. "We have to go away!" shouted Orechin.
"Darian, we don't have time to check these papers!" shouted Liro as he grabbed Darian's hands, pulling him away. The papers of 'Project Seamstress' soon fell back into the drawer. Darian, unable to read the papers, stretched out his hands, trying to grab them back.
"They were important… we can't leave them h—" Darian shouted while being dragged away, but he was interrupted by a loud scream that came directly from the room. The two plushies on the table screamed loudly, their mouths opening wildly.
"I'll take them!" shouted Vane as he jumped, and in mid-air, he turned into a polar bear, slamming his powerful claws directly onto the plushies. One of them got totally ripped in half, killed on the spot, but the other was sent flying into the mirror, creating a small crack on the object.
Still, the creature's body was still intact. As it returned to its feet, it shouted once again at the sight of the group rushing away. "It's so loud!!" shouted Vane as he returned to his human form, covering his ears.
"Ice shard!" Darian removed his hands from his ears and launched a powerful shard towards the enemy. "It's so hard to focus on the creation!" shouted Darian. The shard he created was really powerful, but because of the screams of the plushies, it wasn't very precise, and rather than killing the plushie, it just ripped off its left arm, leaving the creature still able to reach the group.
"We aren't allowed to slack off, they're coming!" shouted Orechin as he noticed the blue crystal getting destroyed right behind the group, who were running in the opposite direction. Orechin then created a small red crystal in his hands and launched it towards the plushie in the pink room, throwing it directly into its mouth.
The plushie started to bite the crystal, charging it, and after a few seconds, it exploded inside the plushie's body, shattering it into multiple parts.
The Seamstress, who had just helped the other two plushies destroy the blue crystal, at the sight of her plushie getting blown up, emitted a strong cry that felt like it was coming directly from the abyss, sending a shiver down everyone's spine.
"Ice shard!" Darian created another shard that rushed directly towards one of the plushies, but rather than the plushie getting destroyed, it was the shard that got turned into multiple pieces after the Seamstress destroyed it with her claws.
"They're in the front too!!" shouted Liro as he noticed tons of plushies appearing from multiple corners, all looking at the group and opening their mouths to scream wildly.
"I'll clear the path for us!!" yelled Vane. Even if his voice was covered by the screams of the plushies, he turned into a buffalo and rushed towards them, slamming some of them under his paws and crushing the plushies with his body strength. But the other plushies that survived were able to jump, landing on Vane's body and digging their teeth into his skin.
"I'll help you, Vane!" shouted Liro as he created some illusions of multiple shards that rushed towards the plushies. Most of them, scared to get hit, jumped away, while other plushies didn't stop crawling onto Vane's skin, who shouted in pain.
"Arghh!!" Vane turned into an eagle, his whole body bleeding because of the attacks made by the plushies. As he flew up near the wall, he noticed all the plushies below him looking at him with his blood in their mouths.
As the plushies screamed again, they jumped towards Vane, making a jump of more than three meters like it was nothing. "It won't work!" answered Vane to their loud screams as he hardened his wing and slashed it towards the plushie jumping towards him.
Most of the plushies, surprised by this type of attack, were sliced in half. The Seamstress, seeing that, created another strong cry and other plushies appeared from every direction. While the Seamstress had just destroyed another blue crystal, she rushed once again towards Orechin and Darian, who were back-to-back.
"Ice shard!" shouted Darian as he created multiple shards that all rushed towards the plushies attacking Vane to give him some cover. Liro and Tyel remained close, Liro waiting for a chance to use his power, and Tyel trying to calm himself down.
"Tyel, didn't you see the plushies rushing towards us in your future?" asked Liro. "Vital shard!" Orechin created three huge green crystals, blocking the Seamstress's way. "This will stop her for a few seconds, we have to go!" shouted Orechin. The group nodded their heads and started to rush towards Vane, who was in worse danger as the plushies kept arriving non-stop.
"No, it happened too fast for me to realize the change in the future. I'm trying to focus to see which route is safe—" answered Tyel, before the Seamstress, after destroying the green crystal, launched one of the plushies with her claws, which rushed directly towards Tyel.
Tyel heard a loud scream coming right toward his direction. As he turned around, he noticed a plushie with its mouth open about to bite his head.
"Ice armor!" shouted Darian as he pushed Tyel away, tanking the hit. The moment the plushie was about to bite Darian's skin, the shards protected Darian's skin by exploding and all rushing towards the plushie, in which multiple cuts appeared and the plushie fell on the ground, unable to move.
"The green shard didn't do anything to her, we have to escape!" shouted Orechin as the group passed near the countless plushies, all distracted by Vane, who soon reached the group while breathing heavily. "Ah… Ah… they never stopped…" pointed out Vane as he landed near the group, returning human and running with them, while his whole body had multiple scratches and holes.
The Seamstress arrived in the same alley the group was following with countless plushies near her. "I can't believe she has got this many… they're probably over one hundred," pointed out Orechin as he noticed other plushies arriving.
"Don't get distracted, we have to be fast," said Tyel, but the Seamstress wasn't following them. Instead, she took multiple plushies in her hands and launched them towards the group.
"Dammit!" shouted Darian as he stopped for a moment and pointed his hand at the ground. "Radial freeze!" Darian created a huge wall made of ice that blocked the plushies. Darian heard multiple bumps on the other side of the wall, like something was crashing against it. Soon enough, the wall became weaker and it completely collapsed, and the plushies were again rushing towards the group.
"We need to find a way to escape or we'll end up badly…" shouted Vane. Suddenly, the Seamstress stopped launching plushies, and instead, she raised her hand and the plushies rushing towards the group all fused together, forming a huge round chicken.
"It's one of the big plushies… attention!" shouted Darian as he created a new wall made of ice to block the plushie, as he noticed that the huge one had started to roll on the ground.
But the wall was too thin; it immediately shattered and reached the group, and was soon gaining ground. "It is reaching us!" shouted Tyel, who was the last one of the group, as he was the slowest of his party. Soon enough, small plushies appeared over the huge one and launched themselves towards Tyel.
"Tyel, attention!!!" shouted Darian as he stretched out his hand to help his friend, who simply remained still. 'I'll make this day restart… so I'll be able to warn them before she arr—' thought Tyel, while he heard the screams of his companions on one side, and on the other, the screams of the plushies that rushed towards his head and bit it off, killing him on the spot.
"Déjà Veil"
"Eh, Tyel… why did you start bleeding?" When Tyel gained back his consciousness, still with his eyes closed, he heard a voice. 'Eh? Am I imagining things? Why did I just hear Liro's voice?' As Tyel opened his eyes, he didn't find himself on his bed; he was in the same room the group got attacked in by the Seamstress during the last loop.
"Are you using your power? What did you see?" asked Orechin, surprised, as none of the group had ever seen Tyel bleeding because of his power.
"I'm bleeding, you say?" asked Tyel as he fell on his knees. Everyone else, surprised, immediately got next to him, worried. "Hey, Tyel, are you alright? What happened?" asked Darian, worried, as he noticed the horrified look on Tyel's face.
'No, no, this can't be real… why didn't I wake up in my bed and I found myself here instead?' Tyel remained still on the ground. At first, he couldn't find an answer as to why this happened, but soon the thought returned to his mind. 'That midnight thing… we've surpassed midnight…' Tyel searched around for a clock, which was nowhere to be found.
'But how am I going to save everyone… if I don't have the time to warn them that the Seamstress is arriving…' Tyel realized that enough time had passed. 'Orechin is here checking on me… then who will tell us if the Seamstress has arrived…' As Tyel tilted his head, he noticed the Seamstress, followed by multiple plushies, all rushing toward the group's direction.
"AHHH!!!" shouted Tyel, scared, as he pointed towards the Seamstress. The group, scared by the sudden scream, turned around and noticed the Seamstress with two plushies rushing towards them.
"No, no… I don't have enough time… how can I react in such a short time?" shouted Tyel as he dragged himself behind, while Orechin created a huge blue shard to block both the Seamstress and the plushies.
"What do you mean, Tyel?! Get up, we have to run away!!" shouted Darian as he stretched out his arm to help Tyel. "I'm coming… but not like this." In front of Tyel, the two plushies on the table took life once again and they pointed towards the group, especially Tyel, who was still defenseless on the ground.
"Tyel, go away!" shouted Darian as he realized that the two plushies were now rushing towards Tyel, who just remained still, waiting for the plushies to kill him.
"Déjà Veil"
"Eh, Tyel… why are you bleeding?" Tyel, still with his eyes closed, heard Liro's voice once again. 'Midnight really has passed… and we don't have much time.'
The moment Tyel opened his eyes, he nodded his head. "Listen, the Seamstress is about to come and we don't have much time left," said Tyel with a warning tone. Everyone's face changed into a horrified look.
"From where will she arrive?" asked Orechin as he glanced around, scared that the Seamstress might attack at any moment.
"She will arrive from there… and you, Darian, keep searching in that drawer. There's something important that you found in the future I saw before you got killed by the Seamstress," said Tyel with a commanding tone. Darian nodded his head and found the paper once again: 'Project Seamstress'.
"Project Seamstress… is it this one? It surely looks strange—" said Darian, before getting interrupted by Orechin's sudden scream.
"She's here!" shouted he. Everyone else immediately turned their heads and noticed the Seamstress rushing towards them.
"Let's not lose any time… Orechin, create a huge blue crystal… everyone, follow me!" shouted Tyel as he started to run, followed by the others. Orechin nodded his head and raised his hand. "Still prism!!" shouted he, creating a huge blue crystal right in front of the Seamstress to slow her down.
"Darian, create a huge wall right here," ordered Tyel. Darian pointed his arm to the ground and created a huge ice wall that blocked the passage through the Seamstress's room and the hallway from where the Seamstress was coming.
As the wall rose from the ground, the Seamstress emitted a strong cry and the two plushies on the table in the room took life once again.
"Let's go, we have to be fast!" shouted Tyel as he realized that the plushies were already trying to dig into the wall.
"Tyel, what did you see in the future? Are you sure we will be alright?!" shouted Liro as he followed him, scared that the Seamstress would kill all of them.
"I've seen this scene enough times…" Tyel's voice was barely a whisper, and as the Seamstress screamed, it couldn't be heard. "I'll be able to bring you out of there safely, don't worry." Now Tyel spoke with a louder voice and a serious tone that was able to give hope to all his companions.
