"I'll take care of him, guys! You think about the huge monster!" shouted Vane as he flew away at extreme speed. Garwhole did the same.
'Don't die, Vane…' thought Darian, seeing him getting away. He was still on top of the wall, with many bladekruk trying to destroy it.
'I don't get why that one bladekruk has some ice… I swear it was eaten by Allocen's golem…' kept thinking Darian, lost in his thoughts, while the krukins under him almost destroyed the wall.
Darian then looked below and noticed that the wall was almost collapsing. He hadn't even realized that it was shaking.
"It isn't important now!" shouted Darian as he jumped behind the wall. All the enemies turned towards him as the wall was destroyed. Darian landed on one knee, with his arm pointed towards the enemies.
"I must first take care of them before!" yelled him as he channeled a lot of ice into his right arm. He wanted to create a huge shot. The temperature around him once again dropped really low. As the krukins saw Darian landing, they immediately rushed towards him, but he was far enough to shoot a strong ice shard.
As the shard was shot, Darian felt the recoil and fell on the ground. When the shard hit the enemies, many of them were killed, while the others who remained were confused by a sudden gas that appeared after the shard exploded.
The enemies, confused, remained still in a defensive pose, but Darian did not want to lose any time. He immediately got up and started to run around the smoke, shooting powerful shards towards them.
Darian saw some blood coming out from the smoke, understanding that some of the krukins were killed. As he kept circling around the smoke, shooting powerful ice shards, one of the bladekruk jumped high. Darian, surprised, stopped immediately. The krukin landed right on top of him and swung both of its blades, which hit Darian on his chest, leaving blood dripping from it.
"ARGHHH!" shouted Darian as the pain was really strong. As he watched the bladekruk, it looked a little bigger than the others, and probably stronger too. Behind this krukin there were others, who seemed to obey that one.
As the one in the middle emitted a strong sound, all the krukins surrounded Darian, one on the left and one on the right. Darian could barely move as the pain in his chest was strong.
"Let me try this…" whispered Darian as the enemies went around him. He created some ice on the injury, sealing it.
'I hope this will work…' thought him as he watched the three krukins all around him.
As he looked at one krukin in front of him and the others on his two sides, he couldn't help but remember the first time he met the krukdills. He had still been weak; it was his first time training with Snowy, and he had almost died.
'Let's see if I actually got stronger…' thought him, the memory of that fight against the krukdill sending a shiver down his spine. But now Darian could not think anymore about the krukdill, the bladekruk were already rushing towards him!
"I WON'T FALL HERE EITHER!!" shouted Darian as the enemies were already in front of him. He then created a strong ice armor on his body. The krukblade immediately swung their blades towards Darian.
After the shards, the armor was destroyed. The crystals exploded and flew in many different directions. The two krukins on the sides were completely blown away, their bodies flying still alive. The one in the middle was the only one who resisted the explosion; he landed on one knee.
As he dragged his knee across the ground, he immediately rushed once again towards Darian, who had no armor left.
"He's going to hit me!" thought him as the enemy jumped madly and swung his blades towards Darian, who was hit on his left arm, used to protect his vital parts, especially his head.
Darian, surprisingly, was able to create an ice armor only on his left arm. 'I didn't do it…' thought Darian, as he realized that it was probably Snowy's work.
'Thanks, Snowy!!' thought Darian in his mind, hoping that Snowy would be able to hear him even in that state.
The bladekruk could not pierce his left arm, so he kicked Darian, who was pushed back with a really strong blow.
Darian saw the bladekruk running as he flew. In a few seconds, he would hit the tree, and after that, the bladekruk would swing its blade into his stomach.
'Armor? No, it won't work, he will simply destroy it after I crash against the tree- wait, I got it!' thought Darian as he created an ice path under the krukin's feet. Not used to ice, it lost balance and slammed against a tree.
"Orghhh…" groaned Darian as he hit the tree. He spat some blood from his mouth, but the enemy was too far to reach him in time. He could try to cast an ice shard towards him.
He immediately got up and was ready to shoot a powerful shard towards the enemy trying to reach him. The shard was thrown at extreme speed; it hit the enemy in the stomach and created a huge hole in it.
As Darian felt a bit more relieved, he immediately thought of the two bladekruk still alive. As he turned around, he found one of them behind him, who swung his blade with anger in his eyes.
Darian fell down because the hit was too strong. 'Where is the other one…' thought him as he saw the other krukin going towards Allen's still body. Allocen had hidden right before using his spell, so his body was hidden in some bushes around a tree, but Darian noticed one of the bladekruk near that, it probably smelled him, thought Darian.
"No… if Allocen gets beaten out… we won't be able to defeat that huge thing…" whispered Darian, watching Allen still with his consciousness inside the golem, fighting it.
'I can't think of him right now… I've got bigger problems!!' thought him as the enemy was right behind him, about to swing its sword at his already large injury.
"Radial freeze…" whispered Darian with his hand pointed towards the ground. Suddenly a wall appeared under him, and the bladekruk wasn't able to hit him in time.
"Ouchh…" said Darian as he created some ice to cover the injury on his body. Soon he noticed that the ice fused with the snow his body was made of, so he felt less pain.
"I don't know for how much I'll be able to hold this… but I have to be fast!" yelled Darian as he regained some of his strength. He noticed the bladekruk right under him, hitting the ice wall with its blades. As the krukin looked up, it saw Darian about to do something, so it created a strong sound and hit faster against the wall.
'Think, Darian, think… how can you kill him without shooting a simple shard?' thought him… then suddenly an idea came to his mind.
He created a strong wall right behind the bladekruk, which was smashed against the other wall. "ARGHHHH!!!" shouted Darian as he moved both of the walls. The bladekruk was crushed to death between the two huge walls.
As the krukin died, Darian jumped down from the wall he was standing on. He immediately ran towards the enemy searching for Allocen's body. Darian saw him, the creature was getting extremely close! Luckily Allocen had created a small build made of dirt, so if the enemy found him, he would at least be a bit covered.
"YOU WON'T GET HIM!!" shouted Darian as he created multiple ice shards. He could feel his body almost falling down as the injury opened again.
The enemy, caught by surprise, was hit by some of the shards, but the later ones were weak, so the monster simply shattered them.
The monster roared, realizing that his brother was dead. Extremely mad, he rushed towards Darian at extreme speed. Darian created an armor at the last moment. As it exploded, the enemy was launched away and slammed against a tree.
"ICE SHARD!!!" shouted Darian while breathing heavily, his whole body about to fall. An extremely powerful and fast shard shot out from his arm. It reached the enemy almost instantly and killed it in one strike.
"Uff…" said Darian as he fell on one knee. He glanced towards Allocen, who was still fighting against the hollowroot. Darian then fell on his butt.
"Give me a moment and I'll come to help you, Allocen…" said Darian as he rested for some minutes. Now Allocen's golem was almost falling back, overwhelmed by the krukin's strength.
