Hope you all are in good health. I am sending this letter to formally announce that I intend to release 1,000 curses upon both Shinjuku and Kyoto to orchestrate a massacre of the civilian population. While my methods are ruthless, my softhearted nature compels me to provide you with this courtesy notice, as it serves to quiet my own conscience.
Naturally, as the heroic defenders of Japan, I have full confidence that you will attempt to intervene. My subordinates will be stationed in both Shinjuku and Kyoto; the event is scheduled for December 24, 2017. I sincerely hope all of you will be present to meet the challenge. Stay tuned.

Geto bastard sent a letter to Jujutsu High, more precisely to Yaga. Because of this emergency, both Mei and I had to come when called to return. Well, not Mei, but since she was with me, I also brought her with me.
I didn't even get to spend Mei Mei's money. We had just ordered food, and right at the moment, Gojo called me. I couldn't even come up with an excuse because of the sheer seriousness in his voice; because of that, my stomach started making noises.
"How was the letter delivered?" Mei Mei asked as she sipped juice. She still has that easygoing smile even after knowing a massacre is in queue and that too in a week from now.
I say, Geto, give us enough time for all the Jujutsu sorcerers to gather up. Since I already know about the war, I made sure that even if he sent the 'invite' a day earlier than the 'event' day, I would still be able to gather the sorcerers, but now since he given us a week's time, all my preparations for gathering the army were thrown in the trash.
"What should we do, Naoya?" Yaga asked. As he spoke, every eye in the meeting hall—including Gojo's and Mei Mei's—turned toward me.
I raised an eyebrow, unimpressed. "Shouldn't you be the one taking charge here?"
"Given that you were the one who preemptively notified us the possibility of Geto Suguru's attack, it is only logical that you should lead," Yoshinobu Gakuganji, principal of the Kyoto school, countered, his voice old but firm. "You predicted this outcome by reading the flow of events before any of us; therefore, the responsibility of command falls to you."
I let out a weak sigh at the stare coming in my direction as they are wondering about my decision. "I guess."Â
Wasn't your dream just to go to the countryside and give Maki or Mai the title of head? Then why are you taking the position of commodore here? Some might question me.
The answer is very simple because I didn't want to have anymore blood in my hand. I don't want to walk always knowing hundreds of civilians die. I have the power and knowledge to keep causality at a minimum; I tried my best to prevent the war, whether by planning to ambush Geto or secretly trying to get knowledge of his inner workings, but all of that failed.
In fact, I got a lot of losses, whether it was financial, by bringing a new spy to infiltrate the Geto's inner circle, or the backlash I got from tossing my clan name with no appropriate progress.
The desire to become great only brings me tears and madness. So now what I wanted was peace; this would be the first step, not *the* first step...but you understand the content.
Given that the plot changed, I guess I will need to try extra hard now. I, at the least, hope I can meet Geto Suguru face to face. I need to make sure the criticality wouldn't reach the point of a culling game.
Well, since this could help Maki and Mai achieve some level of recognition by killing some top-level Curses, I saw a twisted way that this is good. Had to make the most of it even in a shitty play, after all.
