While Toge and Yuta were defeating curses left and right, I was searching for Geto on the premises, and as one would expect from this unlucky one, I didn't even find the dust of Geto anywhere near.
"What should I do next?" I asked to no one; it was a question for myself.
After what Gojo said about changes near Geto and lack of information from the spy of Zenin, I am getting a bad premonition.
In the JJK 0 movie, it was shown that Geto had high interest in Rika; because of it, he arranged a pretend mission to score how deep Rika's ability was, and this was supposed to be that mission. I was sure, and Geto was supposed to observe from the premise to collect information about Rika and Yuta, but no matter how I looked around, there was no Geto to be found, and even the curse was weak; it couldn't bring out Rika and Yuta's full potential.
"I feel like I rolled a snowball somewhere without me knowing; now it's going to cause an avalanche."
If only I knew what caused this change, then I could predict the future somehow. The only big advantage of me in the world is my knowledge about stories; no matter how small it is, I still could predict the flow, but now I can't do that.
"Geto wouldn't change the plan, no matter what. I know how he would think; I feel an external force unrelated to JJK 0 is at play. " I didn't need to rack my brain too much to see who that external force would be, as there is only one mastermind and genius planner in the JJK universe who took backshots to achieve his ambition. "Kenjaku, Master of White Splash, the man who almost became a true woman."
There is so much theory about Kenjaku in the subreddit, though I don't know if it's true or not, as I didn't explicitly research it deeply.
One such theory I read was that Yuji's father was so deep in Kanjaku as Yuji's mother that he was planning to dip his whole plan in trash.
"Maybe I should visit Yuji's father and tell him to put his women in line. I guess Ogi and Naobita can give him some pointers."
But sadly, I have no doubt Yuji's father has died. "Should I drop the plan in case the fight happens?" Thinking about the war that was instigated by Geto as a smoke screen to lure Yuta and Rika, I was in thought: If Kenjaku, somehow, did get control of Geto, would he follow up on the war?
I'm not saying Kenjaku got control of Geto; it's just a what-if chance. As Geto is a special grade curse, taking control of him is not an easy thing. The reason, which I believe personally, why Kenjaku was able to get hold of Geto is because of his fight with Yuta and Gojo, and he didn't have the strength to prevent Kenjaku from taking over, or he died and Kenjaku took over; I don't remember. My memories are a bit hazy.
But currently, Geto is at his peak and is very vigilant, reducing Kenjaku's chance by a lot.
"But all of this still didn't explain why the plot derailed from the original. "I tap my index finger on the iron railings in the shopping center. "I should keep the plan for war in case Geto is just thinking differently from the original. Hope it's just that."
If it's the latter, then a whole other problem would rise and a new question would also rise. I didn't want that; I didn't want my plan to be sabotaged.
If it did, then I would need to formulate new ones, and creating another one is hard; my lazy time would reduce.
Well, I am sure it wouldn't come to that. Geto is a strong man. No matter what Kanjaku does, without weakening Geto, he can't take control of Geto's body.
Yes, I am just overthinking.
"I should go and sleep. For peace, I would once again investigate Geto."
And just in case, I should also train Yuta to achieve his full potential. Initially, I planned to not interfere with Yuta, since he has grown just fine even without my help, but with how things are going, I should help Yuta in order to break his cocoon also.
"My cool uncle's dream is once again meeting its adversity. What does a person need to do get his penance here? I just wanted to go to the countryside and live in self-loathing and self-hate; is it too much to ask?"
Life is really unfair. Give to people who didn't deserve anything and take from people who deserve everything.
