"Ever since I became a vampire, movies like these feel a little different now... I wonder why humans on Earth see us this way..." Chris says thoughtfully.
He and Mia are sitting side by side on the couch, watching a vampire movie.
It's an unusually warm night for spring, so they're both wearing only t-shirts and shorts as pajamas.
The scene Chris is talking about shows a vampire feeding on its prey.
"...I mean... it's not like vampires spend their nights hunting humans just to feed on their blood..." he continues, grabbing a handful of popcorn from the bucket resting between his thighs.
"I guess it's partly our fault..." Mia replies, reaching into the bucket between Chris's legs to grab some popcorn herself. "...that's how Isabelle turned you into a vampire — by biting your neck. Centuries ago, one of my ancestors was likely caught biting a human's neck, which is probably how the legend started."
"Yeah... that makes sense..."
