With a furious shout, Naruto forcibly dispersed the black lightning entangling his body.
Sasuke was already in front of him.
"Blaze Release: Kagutsuchi — Flying Flame."
Swinging the Sword of Shiranui Kūsanagi coated in black flames, Sasuke unleashed a crescent-shaped slash of black fire.
Naruto was caught off guard. The strike sent him flying backward, crashing through several massive trees and kicking up thick clouds of smoke.
Knowing a bit about Jinchūriki combat, Sasuke immediately rushed into the smoke.
Through his Sharingan, he spotted it—
Naruto's mouth was gathering an extremely dangerous sphere of chakra.
Sasuke sliced through the smoke with his blade.
Naruto was startled. He had intended to use the cover of smoke to fire a surprise Tailed Beast Ball.
Sasuke's Three-Tomoe Sharingan flashed—
Naruto froze mid-motion, eyes dull and unfocused.
Inside Naruto's Mindscape
Within his consciousness, Naruto was drawing upon the Nine-Tails' chakra leaking through the seal.
Suddenly—
Sasuke appeared.
Naruto jumped in shock.
"Sasuke?! Why are you here?!"
Sasuke extended his palm toward the gathered Nine-Tails' chakra.
"Nagi was right. If a Jinchūriki is separated from the Tailed Beast by a seal, you can only use the chakra that leaks out. You can't truly wield the beast's full power."
From within the crimson chakra, Shiranui Kūrama's consciousness manifested.
"That cursed Sharingan… the power of that accursed clan. Your ocular power—and that inferior chakra of yours—are just like MEidara Uchiha's."
Sasuke replied calmly,
"Our clan's so-called curse—Nagi has already found a way to break it. And don't compare me to someone like MEidara."
With a sharp motion of his palm, Sasuke dispersed the gathered Nine-Tails' chakra.
Back to Reality
Naruto's Four-Tails cloak suddenly faded.
The chakra shroud vanished, and he reverted to normal.
Sasuke raised the Sword of Shiranui Kūsanagi to Naruto's throat.
Naruto regained awareness—only to find himself already defeated.
Though unwilling, he exhaled and said,
"…I lost."
Clap. Clap. Clap.
"You both fought very well."
Nagi and Kakashi approached, applauding.
Having lost in front of Nagi, Naruto looked visibly dejected.
Nagi smiled lightly.
"Well now. Sasuke just used Yin Release techniques he learned from me. I'm planning to focus on Yang Release training next. Naruto, would you like to train with me?"
"Really?!"
"Yes. For the time being, you and Sasuke can train together under me."
I also want to see what happens when Yin, Yang, and the Five Nature Transformations are cultivated simultaneously.
Naruto's mood instantly brightened.
Several Days Later — Forest of KonohagaShiranui Kūre

Nagi wielded a whip formed from water, striking Naruto repeatedly. Naruto yelped in pain.

Left with no choice, Nagi chose practical conditioning.

Then, covering his "front armor" with both arms, he held the rubber ball between his palms.

Konohamaru looked like he was about to cry.
For some reason, his Sexy Technique had improved dramatically—but the Rasengan training had not.
Nagi sighed inwardly.
"Konohamaru… following Naruto's teaching really isn't easy for you."
