It was the annual school function.
Sonam participated in singing. Rahul joined the dance group.
Before going on stage, Sonam said nervously,
"I'm scared."
Rahul smiled.
"You'll do great. When you smile, the whole school lights up."
Sonam sang beautifully. After the performance, she hugged Rahul in excitement.
"I did it!"
"I'm proud of you," Rahul said softly.
That night, Rahul knew he loved her.
