After the bizarre conversation with Leo, Selene moved quick, continued on walking to the dining room, when she reached there the doors opened smoothly for her, revealing Damian Moretti at the head of the big dining table and Mira sitting beside him, Mira seemed.. Sad, and him? He looked impassive .. I knew that look..
Selene slowly cut the distance and got closer
"good evening.." said selene with a a calm voice
... "You're late." said Damian coldly
"I'm.. Sorry.." as selene sat next her,it was the first time in a long time selene wasn't alone while eating
"Mira.. Sorry I suddenly left.. I actually had to go I didn't see you this morning... You're not upset with me.. Are you ?" selene whispers in miras ear
"it's Okey.. Please don't leave so suddenly again.." Mira replies
"I won't. and I ensure you if I had to leave, i will tell you the very first! .. Now.. Wanna start eating? And please do finish the story from our last breakfast, I'm very cerious"
"O-okey..!" Mira and selene started eating as Mira excitedly finished her story
The dinner goes smooth, no awkwardness thanks to Mira, when we finish the meal -
"please let's sleep together!"
I.. Didn't know what to say "I'd love to!" ? It would be such a great time but.. Her father..
"oh.. I..- (looking at Damian, he wasn't even looking.. So I guessed that's a yes) -.. Yes I'd love to!"
Then we went upstairs, she showed me her gient purple tidy room, wich was her favorite color, the big queen bed in the middle with alot of toys..
" oh.. Teddy bears.."
"yes! I love them! I have a really big one can you bring it for me?"
"Okey, where is it?"
"it's in the small basement.. I really want it"
"O-okey don't worry I'll go, stay here Okey?"
"OKEY!!"
... This was a good opportunity for learning the security system I had to stay calm and normal, not suspicious or anything, I need to do this smart , she thought.
Selene bravely went into the dark basement then turning on the lights to see the actual thing she came for.. She might find anything anything in there..
She started looking around, checking for cameras wich was there of course, but the security was off, she made sure it was not working. She stars looking around Then she found some stuff like jewelry necklacess, rings, earrings shining like crystal wich she wasn't a big fan of it, but she thought who's trace might that be.. A rich woman for sure..? Maybe one of his girls? Or this is just a trap... So Selene puts them back before that another things catchs her attention, but before she could do anything she hears foot steps she quickly grabs the teddy bear and walks out.
She was wiping the dust off the teddy bear when suddenly she sees Mira in front of her, those dark hair down wearing night pj's
"M-MIRA... Y-you scared me"
"sorry... I was scared alone in my room... Can you sleep with me pweas?"
"I-I can let's go back"
"where's daddy at...i wanna say good night to him before we go to bed, he's always alone"
"sure we'll go then if you want to"
Selene and Mira walked in the hallway of upstairs the only light was the moonlight and some candles now, the walk to his office was quiet and slow because of her short legs, yet Selene didn't dare to say anything.. When they got there Mira knocks the door
