The chamber did not return to silence.
Not completely.

A low, constant hum—so faint it almost blended into thought itself.
Neo felt it more than he heard it.
Like standing near something vast that chose not to move.

The light beneath his feet shifted again.
The symbols did not rearrange this time.
They aligned.

"Neo," Ti said, quieter than before, "your interaction has initiated a deeper sequence."
"That sounds important," Cassandra muttered.
"It is."
"That doesn't make me feel better."
Lira stepped closer to the platform, squinting at the symbols.
"They're not random."
"They never were," Beatrix said.
"No, I mean—they're changing with him."
Neo didn't respond.
Because something else had begun.
The connection hadn't just deepened.
