Scarlett's POV
It had been two days since I returned to the Full Moon Pack, and I had chosen to stay completely indoors. The triplets would each take turns coming to my door, trying to talk to me. Every single time, I sent them away. Respectfully, they obeyed. Not once did any of them try to force their way in.
But today, the sun was high in the sky. Despite the air conditioner humming gently in my room, I felt absolutely suffocated. I couldn't stand being trapped inside the four corners of my room for another second.
Sighing deeply, I pulled on a simple tracksuit and a pair of sandals, then stepped out into the hallway.
The halls were completely quiet. I walked down the stairs to the main living room, passing a few staff members I used to know. Now that the truth was out—now that everyone knew my parents weren't cold-blooded murderers but had been part of a hidden plan—the pack members looked at me differently. Their eyes held a mix of guilt, respect, and deep curiosity.
