The young demon had no prohibitions in the new castle. For that very reason, despite standing right behind that large wooden door, the girls had simply ignored him completely.
No one in the group felt that a mere child was a threat that needed to be dealt with immediately. From the beginning, Ryan had made it clear to his entire party how they should treat this intruder.
He explained to them that this young demon was not a prisoner, but an object of exchange.
They would care for him as a guest in the castle, and nothing more. There would be no unnecessary torture or punishment that could harm him.
'Or at least that was the plan we had. But, now there is something I am curious to experiment with him,' Ryan thought, observing the scene in front of him.
Ryan settled into his stone throne, looking at the child holding his mage's weapon with such confidence.
