The Last Station of Dreams”

In a small village near Pandua lived a simple boy named Arian. His family was not rich. His father was a tailor, and his mother was a homemaker. Money was limited, but dreams were not.

Arian had always been fascinated by trains. Whenever he stood at the railway station and heard the loud whistle of an approaching train, his heart would race. To him, a train was not just a machine — it was a symbol of hope. He believed that one day, a train would take him to a bigger world where he could change his family's life.

One day, he heard about a job opportunity in a big company in Kolkata. Everyone said it was difficult to get selected. His friends laughed and said, "You won't survive in a big city."

But Arian decided he would at least try.The day of the exam arrived. It was his first time traveling alone to a big city. When he reached the crowded station, he felt small and nervous. The noise, the rush, the tall buildings — everything felt overwhelming.

For a moment, he doubted himself.

Before entering the exam hall, he closed his eyes and whispered, "If I don't try, I will regret it forever."

The exam was tough. Many questions confused him. When he came out, he felt disappointed. He thought he had failed.

Weeks later, a letter arrived at his home. With trembling hands, he opened it.

He was selected.Life in the city was not easy. The work was demanding. His boss was strict. Sometimes he made mistakes and got scolded. He missed his village, his parents, and the peaceful evenings.

One night, after a particularly hard day, he almost decided to quit and return home.

But then he remembered his mother's words:

"Nothing valuable comes without struggle."

Those words gave him strength.

Slowly, he improved. He worked harder than anyone else. He stayed late to learn new skills. His dedication did not go unnoticed. After one year, he received a promotion.Months later, Arian returned to his village. The small railway station looked exactly the same — quiet and simple. But he was different now.

The boys who once doubted him gathered around and said, "You've become a big officer!"

Arian smiled gently and replied, "I'm not big. I just didn't give up."

He bought a new sewing machine for his father and a beautiful saree for his mother. The happiness in their eyes was worth every struggle he had faced. That night, he stood alone at the railway station again. A train passed by with a loud whistle.

He realized something important.

The train was never the destination. It was only the beginning of the journey. Dreams do not come true just because we wish for them. They come true because we dare to chase them.

Arian looked at the moving train and smiled.

His final station had not arrived yet. There were many more journeys ahead, many more dreams to achieve.

And this time, he was not afraid.
