Mira's heart skipped a beat. This gave her serious déjà vu.
"What do you want to ask me?" She asked, still stroking Jia Hao's hair. She heard Jia Hao's heavy breathing from her sat position. The Lion King had fallen asleep on her thighs. It was funny. He woke her up to begin her lesson only to doze off on her. At least he felt safe enough with her to loosen his guard and that alone was a good thing. Plus, Mira doubted Jia Hao would have let Ming Tao touch her the way he did if Jia Hao was awake.
"Why are you being nice to me?" Ming Tao asked. His throat felt lumpy with saliva he forced down his throat. "I threatened you with your child. I made you suffer a near death experience and yet. . ."
