Nearly an hour had passed since Theo started making his way through the forest.
''Fuck, this is annoying,'' he muttered, cutting through another thick bush.
WHOOSH!
Several branches fell to the ground.
Despite having traveled quite a distance already, the forest didn't seem to be getting any thinner.
If anything, the trees were becoming even larger!
Grumbling under his breath, Theo cut down another branch.
Just as he was about to continue, something caught his attention.
'What is that?' he thought, tilting his head faintly.
A faint light was visible between the trees ahead.
Theo squinted his eyes and placed his hands around his eyes.
'Light from the ceiling,' he thought. 'That means there aren't any trees there.'
Without another thought, he moved towards it, cutting through everything that came in his path.
After nearly a minute, Theo pushed aside the last branches.
''Finally,'' he exclaimed, stepping through.
His gaze wandered over the area in front of him.
