Chapter 13 The Struggle in the Woods

Helios appeared in the far east of the Chaos world, driving the chariot of the sun, a place that symbolized the glory of the gods.

This space, brimming with pride, will henceforth radiate outwards from its origin to the world.

The brilliant and dazzling light has since transformed into warmth and sailed towards the world.

At the easternmost point of Chaos stands a high mountain—Stardumica.

It signifies the easternmost land.

A deity dwells atop the mountain.

He was the child of Helios and a beautiful winged woman.

His proud head is topped with a fleshy crown symbolizing the sun, and his feathers are the vibrant colors of the sun, displaying different lusters under varying light.

He is Boculus, the rooster and the god of awakening.

He was Helios's eldest son, inheriting the luminous qualities of the Helios clan, and complementing the divine role of his aunt Eos.

Eos is the master of the light of dawn, while Boculus is the one who awakens and announces the dawn and its light.

Despite this, his status as a subordinate god among the gods of the flock cannot be ignored.

He was not convinced by this, and even once loathed his chief god Tima.

Instead, he followed in the footsteps of his father, Helios.

As Helios's only son, he was favored by the Radiant Clan.

So he lived on Stardumis and sang daily to accompany his father on his journeys.

He actively fulfilled the work assigned to him by his divine authority.

...

As the sun raced across the sky on a new day, Boculus, having finished his work, drifted aimlessly across the land.

I don't know where it flew to or where it traveled.

But it cannot be denied that he has been flying for a long time.

Space around him was rapidly jumping around.

He himself did not notice anything amiss.

...

In the forest, young humans are burying their deceased companions.

The origins of death and burial revolve in the sky.

The source of death entered the body of the deceased golden human, while the source of the buried divinity intended to fly towards the young man. However, unexpectedly, the source of humanity protected the young man and did not allow any other negative source to intervene.

Thus, the essence of burial gradually dissipated in the sky.

It's said to have disappeared, but that's not really true; it's just quietly hidden away.

He may be in a tree, a blade of grass, a flower, or perhaps in all things.

But we don't know for sure right now.

The wind gently caressed the earth.

A gentle breeze was blowing.

Several beautiful and delicate flowers are enduring the wind and rain.

Boculus, flying in the sky, witnessed the young men in the forest burying their kind.

"Human, what are you doing!" A stern voice immediately rang out and assaulted the young man.

The young man looked at the rooster in the sky, his heart filled with grief and indignation, but his face remained respectful.

"Honorable Titan, my name is Tychus, a golden man from the nearby region. I have discovered that the death of my fellow beings is leading him back to the embrace of the Father Iapetus."

"How could this be?" Bogulas asked, somewhat astonished.

"How could you, as immortal golden humans, possibly die?"

Tychus replied sadly, "Honorable Titan, my companion was killed by the attack of Lydonbran's feathers."

"Did it result from the attack by the feathered brood of Ridon Brown?" Boguras repeated.

"In response to your question, that is indeed the case. He told me this himself, so it cannot be wrong." Tychus nodded, answering Boguras's question.

"How could this be? Given the docile nature of the Feathered Ones, your answer is invalid." Although Bogulas disliked Tima, he would still consider the Feathered Ones' reputation.

After all, his mother was a beautiful canary.

He cannot doubt the entire Feather race because of Tychus's words.

"No, it was definitely caused by Qunyu; it was his death."

"There are sharp claw marks from the Flying Feathers on his body, and he is holding some of their feathers in his hand," Tychus argued.

Upon hearing this, Boculus wavered somewhat.

"Let me see his wound," Bogulas requested.

"No!" Tychus immediately refused.

"My companion has returned to the embrace of the Father of Iapetus! No one shall disturb him!" Tychus stood before his companion's resting place.

He used his body to block Bogus's attempt to dig out the body.

"Honorable Titan, if you wish to disturb the resting place of my companions, you must first step over my body!"

Bogurus's face darkened.

"Get out of my way! Don't make me say it a second time!" Bogurus roared. He was a god with a bad temper, so how could he have any patience?

"I will defend the rest of my comrades to the death!" Tychus cried.

"You're really asking for trouble!" Bogulus was so angry that his feathers stood on end and his hair stood on end as well
