Chapter 3 - Chapter 3 Birds among the Islands

Chapter 3 Birds among the Islands

Doris slowly rose up, her magnificent fishtail gradually transforming into legs, while her beautiful scales turned into a light veil that enveloped her graceful figure.

Because of its divine nature, a pair of pure white wings sprouted from its back, and it flew through the sky.

The clouds shimmered with a rosy purple hue, one, two, three streaked across the sky, falling towards Doris and Tima.

The law bestowed upon trade the divine status as a reward to the two deities who completed the first transaction.

Tima executes the transaction, Doris bestows the gift of the transaction, and the wise bird and flying fish protect the traded goods.

"Dear Doris, I hope that when birds encounter fatal difficulties while flying over the sea, you can help them. Please," Tima pleaded with Doris.

"Of course I will, after all, it is my duty as a priest. My friend, you don't need to be so polite." Doris quickly waved her hand.

"But just now, Tima, what did you know? You suddenly created the Wise Bird," Doris asked, puzzled.

"Do you know why the seabirds don't come to the sea?" Tima asked Doris.

Doris asked in confusion, "Why?"

Kanalivie looked puzzled, but then she thought about Tima's behavior and suddenly had an idea.

"My lord, I understand, it is because of the sea in the sea realm," Canalivie suddenly said.

Tima glanced at Kanalivie and smiled gently.

But Doris clearly still had some questions.

"Dear Doris, you should know that birds that can only fly cannot swim, and the sea is so vast that when they get tired of flying and have nowhere to rest, they will fall into the sea and die," Tima replied to Doris.

Doris had a slight realization.

"I understand!"

"Because they have nowhere to stop and rest, the long flight and the loss of energy will eventually cause them to crash into the sea." Doris thought about it carefully again.

"Tima, I think I might have a way to solve this problem."

Now it was Tima's turn to be puzzled. He thought Doris didn't have the ability to create islands.

I wanted to ask about it.

But little did anyone know that Doris had already transformed into a mermaid and plunged into the sea.

Tima, who was perched on Doris's shoulder, was so frightened that she immediately flew up.

Tima and Kanalivie exchanged a glance, each seeing helplessness in the other's eyes.

The two of them flew aimlessly over the sea.

Fortunately, Tima was the goddess of flight, otherwise they would have already sunk into the sea and turned into foam.

After waiting for a while, Doris finally emerged from the sea.

"Tima!" Doris called out joyfully.

Behind her was a man, or more accurately, a god, whose power was clearly greater than Tima's.

"Good day, Your Highness," Tima immediately greeted him.

"Good day." And the other party didn't put on airs.

"Tima, this is my good friend Nereus." Doris immediately introduced her good friend to Tima.

Tima thought to herself, 'Nereus and Doris must have been a couple in mythology!' Then she looked at Nereus.

Sure enough, his gaze toward Doris was gentle and tender.

It looks like good things are on the horizon.

But Tima couldn't care less about all that.

"Doris, what was the method you just mentioned?"

"Hehe. Tima, do you know who Nereus' father is?" Doris countered.

"It's the great god Pontus!" Tima replied in confusion, then realized what was going on.

'Yes! Nereus's father was Ponteus, so he should have inherited his divinity. Creating a small island shouldn't be a problem for him!'

After realizing what was happening, Tima looked at Nereus and asked, "Your Highness, can you help me? Of course, I will also offer my reward."

"Of course, and in return, I would like to ask that you give me a portion of the bird's essence. Don't worry, I don't need much," Nereus replied to Tima's request.

Tima thought about it carefully.

"sure."

"But I still want to ask, Your Highness, what do you need the essence of birds for? As a god whose essence originates from the ocean, you do not need the essence of a weak god like me. Perhaps merging it into your divine fire would even taint your divine power." Tima knew it was a bit impolite, but she still asked.

Nereus looked at Tima very seriously. "Tima, you must know that your question is impolite."

"Sorry!" Tima apologized immediately, fearing the deal would fall through, since he couldn't find any other opportunity to complete it.

"But it's alright. I just want to use the essence of birds to create new birds. I think Doris really likes these cute little creatures." As a god of gentleness, Nereus has a very tolerant personality.

"I'm sorry, and to express my apology, I will give you more of the source." Tima thanked Nereus for his forgiveness.

"Alright, let's get down to business," Doris said from the side.

The other three gods immediately straightened up and said...

"I will raise the bottom of the sea to provide a place for birds to rest," Nereus said to Tima.

"certainly."

"I am Nereus, the gentleness of the sea. I declare that I will raise a portion of the seabed as a dwelling place for all creatures that cannot live in the sea realm." Nereus declared to the law.

The bottom of the ocean slowly rose, and once the surface was cleared, plants grew wildly, creating a lush and verdant scene.

Tima waved to the left, and one after another, pure white doves flew out.

With a flick of the wrist to the right, sparrows flew out one after another.

With another wave, a flock of swallows, beacons, and ravens appeared.

It enriches the island's biodiversity, and the wind also brings other plants.

Five islands rose up around Tima and his companions.

Its name is Croné.

The Law, pleased with Nereus's contributions to the world, bestowed upon the archipelago a divine position.

From then on, Nereus was not only the gentle god of the sea but also the god of the islands.

Tima also began creating something new.

"Your Highness Nereus, could you grant me a little bit of the ocean's divinity? Just a little bit will do," Tima asked Nereus during the creation process.

Nereus also sacrificed a small portion of the ocean's divinity for Doris.

A bright green bird, its feathers like Nereus's gentle eyes.

A bright blue bird, its feathers like Doris's vivid eyes.

Tima raised them high, declaring to the bird god.

"As the lord of birds, I declare that their name is Kingfisher, with turquoise for the male and blue for the female. They will adorn the coast and symbolize pure love in the sea."

The divinity of the bird responded to Tima, bestowing upon her the divinity of the kingfisher.

The two flew towards Nereus and Doris respectively.

Its colorful feathers also successfully attracted Doris's affection.

When Doris heard Tima's declaration, her face turned bright red, and she kept glancing at Nereus.

'It seems good things are indeed on the horizon,' Tima thought.
