Plotting against Wei RanRan
Zheng Lin arrived at the Zheng manor and eard voices. He already knew who it was. It was Master Wei and Miss Chen Yihan. He got inside and they all noticed him.
"Aiya Jiayu you have such a handsome boy." Yihan complimented. Zheng Lin smiled and bowed. "Such a respectful young man." Master Wei added. Zheng Lin took a seat and surprising the scheming mother and daughter also came downstairs.
"Sister in law, i thought you were not home." Jiayu said sweetly. Wenli was about to respond when Jiayu cut her off.
"It doesn't matter. Sister in law meet Lin's future in laws. Master Wei and Chen Yihan. Please meet my sister in law, Wanli and her daughter, Fenying." Jiayu introduced.
Wanli did not even hide her displeasure while Fenying had a serious. Yihan only knew one thing that these two did not like their daughter. Master Wei even noticed.
"Mother Yihan, I'm happy that this marriage is happening. I will keep RanRan happy. Can I ask permission to take her on a date tomorrow." Zheng Lin said making the elders impressed. Wanli and Fenying clenched their fists.
"Of course Zheng Lin. RanRan will be happy." Yihan said softly.
"Yes yes. RanRan will love that." Master Wei added. Zheng Lin smiled. Someone entered the house and it was none other Zheng Jiaching.
"Jiaching there you are. Come here and meet Master Wei and Yihan. They are RanRan's parents." Jiayu introduced.
"Hello aunty and uncle. I'm Zheng Jiaching." Jiaching introduced himself.
"Master Zheng, I have to say all your sons are respectable and handsome." Yihan said smiling. Jiaching smiled as he took a seat.
"Yes, we teach them manners. Miss Yihan, these two are so outstanding. I'm proud of them." Master Zheng responded.
"Madam dinner is ready." A maid announced. Jiayu nodded and led everyone to the dining area. The food was a lot on the table.
There were chatting happily. They finished dinner and it was time for Yihan and Master Wei to leave.
"Thank you so much for the hospitality. We enjoyed ourselves. Come to our place next time." Yihan said smiling at the Zheng family.
"Of course. We have to go shopping remember Yihan." Madam Zheng said happily. The duo left after bidding their goodbyes.
Zheng Lin headed towards his room. He took out his phone and texted RanRan. Well Zheng Lin got her number from somewhere else. There was a knock on his door and Jiacheng entered.
"Brother, are you happy about this engagement?" Jiacheng asked. Lin frowned and looked at his younger brother.
"Of course I am. I love RanRan. She also loves me so it's perfect." Zheng Lin responded. Jiacheng looked at him as if he is searching for something else.
"Okay that's all I needed to know." Jiacheng said and left. Zheng Lin frowned. These two brothers are always cold to each other. They medle mind each other's business.
Jiacheng reached his room and locked his door. She looked at the mirror. He saw the man who is running Zheng Ent. The man who is everyone's second choice after Zheng Lin.
The man who worked his ass off to get where he is. He wouldn't have had Zheng Ent if Zheng Lin haven't given it to him. Jiacheng sighed. He is already used to it. He loves his brother and he wants his brother to be happy.
Meanwhile RanRan was still at Wei mansion. She was sitting at the couch typing away on her phone when a message popped up.
"Hey baby. Date tomorrow?"
She frowned. The number is unknown. She thought for a while and assumed maybe it's Zheng Lin.
"Zheng Lin?"
RanRan texted back. The front door opened and Master Wei entered. He was holding a gift bag.
"Dad." RanRan said happily and rushed to hug her father. Master Wei melted and hugged her. Xinyi saw him and also hugged him.
For some reason Master Wei never felt a connection with Xinyi. He is the father and he tried spending time with her. He never felt any connection like he did with RanRan and Yiming. He hugged Xinyi back and they headed to the living room.
"Darling, you came late." Linui said. She felt relived when she saw Master Wei entering the house.
"Yes. I must say the meeting was productive. The engagement is in two weeks. The wedding after a month. RanRan tomorrow Lin is taking you out on a date." Master Wei announced happily.
RanRan was so happy. She stood up and started jumping around. This is good news indeed. Finally, she is getting the man of her dreams. The man she has always loved and wanted and that's Zheng Lin.
"Oh, your mother asked me to give you this." Master Wei handling RanRan the gift bag. RanRan took it and thanked him.
"Dad thank you so much. I'm so happy. Finally its happening." RanRan jumped happily.
While she was jumping happily she didn't see Xinyi putting her leg. The moment RanRan jumped again she fell down with a thud.
"Ahh." She said painfully. "RanRan, child what happened?" Master Wei asked. He was so worried. He helped RanRan sit on the couch.
"Dad, I tripped. Xinyi hope I didn't step on you. I'm sorry. I was just happy. I'm clumsy." RanRan said pitifully.
"Stop apologizing. You are the one who is hurt." Master Wei said while checking if RanRan is hurt.
"Dad, I'm fine. I was just excited." RanRan said softly. Master Wei chuckled.
"Yiming take your sister to her room." Yiming nodded and helped his sister up the stairs.
"I hope she did not hurt her ankle. She has a date tomorrow and I know she will be disappointed if she doesn't go." Master Wei said and left the hall.
Xinyi and Luhui laughed together. "Xinyi, you are too good my child." Luhui said.
"Of course. I wanted to ruin that excitement. Mom, we can always hurt her physically. Accidents happen right?" Xinyi said with a smirk.
"I hope she doesn't make it to the date. Wait, what if you go on her place. This is your chance. When Zheng Lin realized that RanRan bailed on him. He will be furious." Luhui said.
"Of course. Mom, there is a movie that is about to be shoot. The director is well known. He still looking for actress. I heard he has a good relationship with Zheng Lin. If I can get the female lead role then Zheng Lin will know that I'm capable."
"Of course. You are the best actress after all. Go for it. Besides after knowing you are about to a relation with Zheng Lin, he will immediately give to you." Luhui said hyping her daughter.
The duo laughed feeling victorious.
