I sat on the edge of the bed, staring at the small flash drive Mia had given me. It felt heavy in my palm, like it carried all the answers I needed about Henry's sabotage.
Ever since the days when Mr Maxwell came I hadn't said anything about it.

Stephan walked out of the bathroom, freshly showered, his hair still damp. He looked at me with that soft concern that made my chest tighten.
"Ready to check it?"
I nodded, swallowing hard. "Yeah. Let's see what Mia risked giving me."
We moved to his study area in the room. He plugged the flash drive into his laptop while I sat beside him, heart beating fast.

No immediate response and just a faint static hum in my head.
