Chapter 7 - Chapter 7 – The First Clash

Night covered Tokyo in silence.

But the silence did not feel peaceful.

It felt heavy.

Like something inevitable was about to happen.

On the empty highway outside the city, Toji Fushiguro walked alone, hands in his pockets, footsteps calm.

Behind him—

A familiar voice echoed.

"You really couldn't just retire peacefully, huh?"

Toji stopped.

Without turning, he smirked slightly.

"You talk too much."

Standing a few meters away was Satoru Gojo.

Blindfold on. Smiling.

But this wasn't his usual playful smile.

This was serious.

Infinity vs Instinct

"I'll ask once," Gojo said.

"Why are you doing this?"

Toji's answer was simple.

"They killed my son."

For a moment, Gojo said nothing.

The air shifted.

Then—

Gojo vanished.

The highway exploded as a punch carrying Limitless force tore through concrete.

But Toji had already moved.

He slipped past the attack, appearing behind Gojo with a blade in hand.

The blade stopped inches away from Gojo's back.

Infinity.

An invisible wall of space separated them.

"You can't touch me," Gojo said calmly.

Toji pulled back.

"I know."

The Speed of Nothing

Blue energy formed in Gojo's palm.

"Let's test something."

A compressed force shot forward.

The ground folded inward as if gravity itself bent.

Toji leaped sideways, rolling across broken asphalt, dodging debris with animal-like precision.

No cursed energy.

No reinforcement.

Just raw physical perfection.

Gojo's eyes narrowed behind the blindfold.

"You're sharper than before."

Toji rushed forward again—

This time drawing a special blade.

The Inverted Spear of Heaven.

The moment it approached—

Infinity flickered.

For a split second—

Contact.

Metal grazed Gojo's arm.

Blood dropped onto the road.

Silence.

Gojo touched the cut and smiled slightly.

"So that's how you plan to fight."

Escalation

Gojo removed his blindfold.

Bright blue Six Eyes glowed in the darkness.

The pressure in the air became suffocating.

Red and Blue forces twisted around him.

Toji felt it.

If that attack landed directly—

He would die.

Gojo raised his hand.

"Hollow—"

Before he could finish—

Gunfire echoed.

Toji had switched tactics instantly.

Bullets disrupted Gojo's focus just enough for Toji to disappear into the smoke.

When the dust settled—

Toji was gone.

Gojo stood alone on the shattered highway.

He looked at the blood on his fingers.

"…You're not just angry," he muttered.

"You're evolving."

Far away, on a distant rooftop, Toji watched silently.

"This isn't the time," he said under his breath.

Their fight had ended—

But not concluded.

Both understood something now.

The next time they met—

One of them would not walk away.
