This is a new version of my original story, refined and further intensified. I shall not explain much, nor shall I speak at length. Enjoy the 45th version—the one I consider my "Mona Lisa."
This existence we inhabit is divided into three primary realms, with no fourth:
The High Realm: Where authority and power reside. There dwell the rulers... the Sovereigns. They rule from above, doing nothing, surrounded by the Soldiers of Light who protect them without tire or boredom.
The Mid Realm: Hehhh... that arena filled with coexisting beings. Among them are Humans, Elves, Dwarves, and the predatory beasts that inhabit the forests and forbidden zones. And there are the Dragons, spoken of in tales but never appearing.
The Low Realm: There, peace is a mere dream, more elusive than their own illusions. War between the lower races rages at all times, and the beings that rule there are called the Masters... the Monarchs.
The Power System: Arkada
Enough talk of the world; let us speak of the power system. Let me tell you something: the power system here is not what you are used to—not Mana or Aether. No... here, it is called Arkada.
I will not explain much, but the Atorin is established from Arkada. Arkada is the raw power, and the Atorin is what you manifest to utilize that power in the form of Resonance. How it is awakened and its definition will all be explained in due time. For now, let us discuss the classifications and the actual power system: the method of using Arkada.
Arkada is utilized through a pattern known as Resonance. From the following divisions, you will understand more.
Resonance users are divided into: Weapon User | Mage | Healer | Seer (or Evaluator)
What they all share are the Resonant Levels, which consist of five levels respectively:
Level 3: For those who have recently awakened their Atorin.
Level 2: For those who have begun to delve slightly deeper into it.
Level 1: For those who have reached a near-instinctive stage.
Level 0: They have now become one of the Elemental Masters.
Warning!!!: These are only the basic levels. Between each level and the next, there are several tiers that must be surpassed.
The Hierarchy of Essence:
Resonance consists of Layers.
Layers consist of Frequencies.
Frequencies consist of Atorin.
Atorin consists of Arkada.
Arkada evolves to become Ricada. And we have Siradaka... which is specialized in contracts, black magic, and other such arts.
I wished to explain more, but I saw that doing so would only harm me and the story. So... I have settled for this much.
