It was Sunday, and Sienna was hopeful that the ice would crack today. Hunter would be home all day, and she could get a chance to get closer to him.
At least that was what she had thought. But when she came downstairs in the morning, Brian informed her that Hunter had gone out for some work.
She stayed in the living room with her laptop, also watching some random movie on TV. Not only that, but she also annoyed Brian by asking random questions every other minute.
Around lunch time, she finally heard the familiar sound of his car horn outside. Her head lifted instantly, but she quickly looked back at her laptop screen.
A few seconds later, Hunter walked inside dressed in a t-shirt and khaki pants, talking on the phone. A jacket was draped casually on his arm.
He stopped for an instant when he noticed her, but then walked past the living room. Sienna made a face as she looked up slowly.
Why was he ignoring her today? She thought they were friends now.
